Owner is vocal supporter of Israel and critic of Town Meeting ‘anti-apartheid’ resolution

The Vermont State Police are investigating possible hate crimes after anti-Israel graffiti was spray-painted on a Jewish-owned Windsor County business early Wednesday morning.
Police said troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded at about 4:50 a.m. May 20 to DG Bodyworks in Cavendish after receiving a report of vandalism.
Investigators reviewed security footage and determined that at about 1:55 a.m., an individual used purple spray paint to write messages on the business’s two front windows. According to police, one message stated “Free Palestine,” while the other included a profanity directed at Israel.
DG Bodyworks owner Denise Gebroe, a licensed massage therapist and personal trainer, is an outspoken supporter of Israel and critic of anti-Israel initiatives in Vermont. She was featured earlier this year on a CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) video report about her opposition to the anti-Israel resolutions at Town Meeting this March. Gebroe is also a top contributor to the Vermont Friends of Israel blog. Her May 4 letter in the Valley News, takes to task the Windsor County town of Hartford for its Town Meeting resolution condemning Israel as an apartheid state:
“Hartford recently declared itself an ‘apartheid-free community,’ targeting Israel with a symbolic boycott pledge on Town Meeting Day,” Gebroe wrote. “The optics are hard to ignore; a small, overwhelmingly white New England town choosing the world’s only Jewish state as the focus of its moral condemnation.”
Gebroe then compared Hartford to infamously antisemitic nations.
“That puts Hartford in the company of movements that became myopically obsessed with the tiny Jewish minority, including medieval England, the Spanish Inquisition, Tsarist Russia, and of course, Nazi Germany. This rarely ages well.”

Hartford, Bristol, Underhill, Vershire, and Hardwick all passed anti-Israel resolutions.
The case is being investigated as unlawful mischief and possible hate crimes. State police said they will notify the Vermont Attorney General’s Office through the state’s Bias Incident Reporting System.
No suspects had been identified as of Wednesday afternoon. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks at 802-722-4600.

Like so many on the Left, you need to do some homework and look up the definition of “genocide” before you start slinging that word around.
Genocide: “The deliberate, systematic destruction of a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group.”
The only genocide I see these days is support for the murderers of Hamas, who kill Jews only because they are Jews, and calls to push Israel and all its Jews into the sea. Israel attacks Hamas not because Hamas members are Muslims but because Hamas and other jihadis kill Jews and want to destroy Israel.
Israel must fight or face extinction. Palestinian civilians die because they are Hamas foot soldiers and because Hamas hides rocket launchers in schools, hospitals, homes, and other places occupied by civilians. Hamas terrorists are cowards who hide behind “civilians” and blame Israel when civilians are killed. Hamas is responsible for the deaths of their own people. But they don’t care about their own people as long as they can play the victim and keep the pressure on Israel. Sadly, their strategy seems to be working.
Liar. You repeat your Party Line of “genocide”. There is no “genocide”, liar. Israel has a right to defend itself. Jews, Druse, Zoroastrians, Christians and some Bedouins fought in the civil war to establish Israel so that they would no longer be oppressed under Islamic regimes, liar.
Beyond hypocritical to hear all the talk from the perpetually aggrieved-left and mainstream media about our Presidential Administration using descriptors like facist, nazi, hitler, gestapo…while I never could fathom that in 21st century USA a Jewish business owner in Vermont or college student in New York City would have to fear violence and vandalism from leftist activists because of their association with Judaism.

All you have to do to see how real Nazis think is watch Kamala’s No Bad Idea’s screed. They can’t win so let’s disregard the constitution, get rid of the electoral college, pack the Supreme Court, make D.C. and Puerto Rico states. They are telling you exactly what they will do if they get power back and meanwhile back at the Senate lemming John Thune won’t get rid of the filibuster and pass the Save America voting act to stop these communists from cheating in elections. All the Rinos got their comeuppance in the recent primaries. Every candidate Trup endorsed won! And Trump put them on notice when he endorsed Ken Paxton over John Cornyn in Texas basically telling him if the Republicans do hold the Senate Thune will not be the Senate Majority Leader. Are you RINO’s in Montpelier getting this?

Here’s a point, prior to VPR talking About Ukraine, one of the most corrupt countries on the planet, Vermonters wouldn’t even know where to find the country, yet there are more Ukraine flags across the. State than American. More truth lies on the side that Ukraine is a money laundering vessel for the far left, our own Bailant a recipient of that money laundering wash to the tune of a million dollar check.
War time is propaganda time in spades, some people have a hard time believing the story of the trade towers on 9/11, some people question the allowance of the strike on Israel on October. There are some rather diabolical people who claim to be Christian, Jew, Buddhist, atheist and Muslim, there are organizations with these groups that struggle with loving their neighbor too.
There is much hate going around for everyone, surely. Which is why we struggle with the most simple of Gods rule, when Jesus suggested we love thy neighbor.

I don’t support stupid acts of vandalism to make a point. I also don’t support what happened this week to Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who got primaried because he didn’t support a costly foreign war that the president vowed he’d never start in the first place. So Trump backed an opponent who was swimming in foreign lobbying money from a country that can’t be named.
The most MAGA of any Republican in Washington, Massie is also the one most responsible for getting “the files” released. Maybe that was another reason he had to go . . .
The vandalism was an act of hate-inspired crime. The voters of Kentucky acted within their legal rights in a lawful election. I guess Massie was the victim of an illness…the voters got sick of him.
And why would the voters get sick of him, Rich, considering he consistently defended Trump through Russiagate and all the other Democrat shenanigans, and got the files released even after Trump called the files a “hoax”? Massie actually delivered what he said he’d do. But he got beat the way so many America-firsters who don’t take foreign money get beat: by being outspent.
Rich, after hearing clips of Massie’s comments over the last year and a half can see why voter were sick of him, call our President a pedophile and speaking against all GOP points, while purporting to be in favor of most in front of the news camera. He showed in his concession speech how truly how little man that he is, in addition to comments he is going to run under GOP for President against whoever the party puts up, a real Party kind of politician
You seem to forget, Ron, that Massie never veered from the core of MAGA’s platform–ending foreign regime change wars and getting the files released, among other things. Trump did veer from those promises. (He’s mentioned in the files over 30,000 times, by the way.) If you don’t believe in those things, then you are not MAGA. You’re just another so-called voter who never will hold his leader to promises made. (And there’s a lot more broken promises than those two.)
John, One thing the Dems are good at is sticking together, further I am sure that most of the 30,000 times he was mentioned had a prefix of F**k or F***in Trump. Remember he is the one that threw Jeffery out of the restaurant and cancelled his golf membership further documents show Jeffery was turned into the County Sheriff just prior to his arrest that resulted in a conviction. If there was any real information in the files Dems having had total control of the information wouldn’t have needed to spend our tax money including tax kickback donations via Act Blue, SLPC etc to try and convict on what we now know were false made up charges using an unlawfully Unconstitutional Special Prosecutor. All of which is now a matter of fact by files and witnesses to Congress
“False made-up charges.” Precisely why Massie defended Trump against that stuff. And the reason the Dems didn’t release the files is that the release would be just as damaging to them. Corruption is bipartisan, my friend.

Word of advice to small business owners, when you promote your politics via your business, regardless of Left or Right, conservative or liberal, Gay or Straight, or whatever it is you feel strongly about, you’re going to get kickback. I hate going into places that place their politics front and center, just give me a decent product or service and leave your opinions to yourself.
And while I’m on it, all these numb nuts with their BLM signs on their lawns or folks with their “Trump” flags, you’re all part of the same ilk. You’re either virtue signaling to your neighbors or riling up the opposition. And for some reason this seems more common in Vermont than many other parts of the country.
I applaud Denise Gebroe for her courage, intelligence, and patience with the loads of filth and hate directed at her, Israel, and the Jewish people. I hope the police can track down and arrest the sleazebag who wrote that graffiti — and maybe rough him up just a bit.
Until we know who did it and why we don’t know the truth. Remember when VT Digger for months spoke and claimed the Vermont State police were anti semtic because he pulled over a rabbi???

The embrace of the anti-Israel movement across Vermont is now finding expression in vandalism directed at those who openly support Israel.
The first warning sign is never the broken glass. It’s the moment a society decides some people deserve it because of who they are or what they believe. History has seen this movie before. The people cheering today are never the ones who recognize themselves in the final act.
This reminds me of Nazi Germany’s Kristallnacht, Night of Broken Glass.
