I-89 speeder hits 112 MPH

A Monday morning speeder got more than a speeding ticket. He got a date with the judge.

At 10 AM on Monday morning, Vermont State Police were monitoring traffic on Interstate 89 in Colchester. They observed a vehicle operated by Logan Bean, 26, of St. Albans, travelling at a rate of 112 mph in a posted 65 mph zone.

Bean was issued a Criminal Citation. He’s scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on November 9, 2021.

  1. Golly. Guess it’s quite fortuitous that the State Police weren’t “defunded” – lest young Logan have killed himself or innocents in a fatal crash.
