Fernandez: Bernie at large and considered dangerous

by Peter Fernandez

Bernie Sanders hasn’t been making headlines, like Unholywood’s Will Smith at the ultra-violent Oscars, but he remains at large and is to be considered extremely dangerous.  His pompous and impolite personality and polluted politics have long percolated an insidiously dark and bitter brand of communism as BLM, BDS, CRT are peddled by his  Bizarro Sandernistas, Omar, Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez, Pelosi, Schumer, and peddled like a narcotic by their public relations arm, the relativist-liberal media.

Peter Fernandez

They refuse to play nice if they cannot make their big-woke, socialist-soylent green-electric Frankenstein monster crash through our schools, garages and living rooms. The Sandernistas will continue to weaponize other antisocial plagues, like Covid, as they spread fear and chaos in our police depleted towns and cities. Tear up that Constitution, and disrupt/ alter our deplorable lifestyles. After all, they believe, that dying, racist document was written by white slave owners too long ago.

Those rustic, weird and woke manifestos of misspelled mediocrity, the Barre Times, Burlington Free Press and 7 Daze are also jiggie with this rabid revolution.

Here, then, are more specific reasons not to vote for Bernie, but to pay attention to his decadent assault of our country.  According to a February 4, 2020 Washington Examiner editorial by Joseph Simonson, “In 1980 and 1984, Sanders endorsed SWP (Socialist Workers Party) presidential candidates Andrew Pulley and Mel Mason. Their presidential platforms included promises to dismantle the entire US military and nationalize most industries.

“Sanders was later investigated by the FBI concerning his ties to the SWP, although charges were never brought.” According to the same article, in 1983, Soviet Embassy First Secretary Vadim Kuznetsov, “congratulated Sanders in a letter for his reelection as mayor of Burlington. Kuznetsov, a leader of the Soviet’s spy outfit, had just attended a conference in Sanders’ city a few days earlier.”

Jeanette Vietti’s January 18, 2016 article Bernie Sanders History With Communism? Guardian Liberty Voice is also a worthwhile read. Bernie, the entrepreneurial film auteur, and pornographer, wrote and produced a documentary about Eugene Debs in 1979. Bernie Sanders’ 1979 Eugene Debs Documentary | Defend Democracy Press. Debs was imprisoned for “espionage during the Red Scare. The Bolsheviks hailed Debs  as America’s greatest Marxist, was  convicted by a federal court of insurrection in 1918,  and sentenced to ten years, serving three due to ill health. “Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel,” said Debs.

According to that article, Vietti wrote, “While mayor, Sanders often went to Cuba, the USSR, and Nicaragua. According to the NY Post, communists were spreading their propaganda at that time. In 1985, he went to Managua, supposedly to celebrate the Marxist-Leninist Sandinista’s rise to power. The NY Post claims Sanders disagreed with the Reagan administration decision to support Contra rebels. He expressed these feelings in a letter to the Sandinistas, which was against anti-communism US policy.”

Today in whining woke America, Bernie and his proud red Sandernistas are encouraging the  Biden Adminsitration’s  purposeful errors of destruction: leaving billions of dollars of military equipment in Afghanistan, their their schools are closed again to female students until the Mahdi returns and Sharia Law is established; canceling Trump’s working border wall and opening our southern borders to illegal immigration just to increase liberal votes; teaching CRT in our schools, normalizing transgenderism, destroying  amateur women’s sports; canceling the Keystone Pipeline and American fuel production, etc..

On January 16, 2016, the NY Post’s Paul Sperry wrote Don’t’ be fooled by Bernie Sanders, he’s a diehard communist. In 1989, as the West was on the verge of winning the Cold War, Sanders addressed the national conference of the US Peace Council – a known front for the Communist Party USA, whose members swore an oath not only to the Soviet Union but to ‘triumph of Soviet power in the US.’”

Slick Bernie looks, sounds and is Soviet smart, but that just makes him another Constitution hating communist demagogue, like his two heroes, Debs and Saul Alinsky.

  1. Very well said, sir. It’s sad how many VTers have drank the Bernie kool-aid over the years.

  2. Bernie talked a good game for a good many years. After a number of years in the DC Swamp, he upped the game that paid great dividends for himself, Jane, and his kids. He is an old man now and will likely get “COVID” and disappear – perhaps to GITMO.

  3. Except he’s in bed with the Chinese communists, not with Russia. Oops.
He does so by promoting their long game, as this article shows.
But it was never the Russians.
It was the insidious and ubiquitous Chinese whom we’ve been sleeping with for a long, long time, and whom the Biden’s are literally the Manchurian candidates of.

  4. What “pornography”?
A major flaw in this presentation is conflating all “socialist” govts. with the totalitarianism of the Soviet Union. Among other things, this article doesn’t take into account the brutal regime in place in Nicaragua. Cuba also, although Castro’s regime was riddled by corruption, even petty capitalism as needed medical and other supplies were commandeered and sold by officials.
Please recall that Sanders has supported aid to Israel, without which the country might very well not have survived.
History is a complex phenomena, not merely cliche’ ridden labeling.

  5. Fernandez has overlooked the fact that Bernie was a Vermont Presidential elector for the Socialist Workers Party, a Trotskyite group pushed out of the CPUSA when Stalin fell out with Trotsky (who he eventually had murdered.. That was the 1980 election. Bernie won 75 votes for Clifton DeBerry on the SWP ticket. I published all this in the Free Press on 4/28/86. Republican President Warren Harding.pardoned Debs, who was ideologically very wrong, but a man one could admire.
