NIH admits US funded gain-of-function in Wuhan – despite Fauci repeatedly insisting to Congress that it didn’t happen | 21 Oct 2021 |

The National Institutes of Health has admitted to funding gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at China’s Wuhan lab — despite Dr. Anthony Fauci repeatedly insisting to Congress that no such thing happened. In a letter to Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) on Wednesday, a top NIH official blamed EcoHealth Alliance — the New York City-based nonprofit that has funneled US funds to the Wuhan lab — for not being transparent about the work it was doing. NIH’s principal deputy director, Lawrence A. Tabak, wrote in the letter that EcoHealth’s “limited experiment” tested whether “spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model.”

A bipartisan letter demands answers from the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser. The White Coat Waste Project, the nonprofit organization that first pointed out that U.S. taxpayers were being used to fund the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology, have now turned its sights on Anthony Fauci on another animal-testing-related matter — infecting dozens of beagles with disease-causing parasites to test an experimental drug on them. House members, most of whom are Republicans, want Fauci to explain himself in response to allegations brought on by the White Coat Waste Project that involve drugging puppies.

According to the White Coat Waste Project, the Food and Drug Administration does not require drugs to be tested on dogs, so the group is asking why the need for such testing. White Coat Waste claims that 44 beagle puppies were used in a Tunisia, North Africa, laboratory, and some of the dogs had their vocal cords removed, allegedly so scientists could work without incessant barking.

A recent Forbes investigation looked at how Dr. Anthony Fauci became the highest paid federal employee, with an annual salary significantly higher than the President of the United States. According to Forbes, with a 2020 salary of $432,312, Fauci out-earned not only the U.S. president ($400,000), but also four-star generals in the military ($282,000) and roughly 4.3 million other federal employees. How? Fauci received steep pay hikes over the years for research he oversaw on biodefense, or as Forbes put it, “Fauci was paid to prevent pandemics.” In 2004, during the George Bush administration, Fauci received a whopping 68% pay increase, from 200,000 to 335,000 a year.

More than 100 top nuclear scientists with ‘highest security clearances’ being fired from Los Alamos Lab due to vaccine mandate | 19 Oct 2021

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL)…home of the primary nuclear weapons research facility in the United States, is about to lose dozens of its top nuclear scientists. According to a report from The Hill, more than 100 scientists, nuclear engineers, and others are being fired due to a vaccine mandate at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

The Hill said that dozens of top nuclear scientists with “highest security clearances in the nation” and PhDs in sciences and engineering will be fired from Los Alamos Lab after the deadline for Los Alamos National Lab employees to get vaccinated has come and gone. The report is a further confirmation that people with PhDs refused to get the vaccine than those with lower educational levels. According to a Thursday report from the Hill, a total of 114 workers at Los Alamos National Laboratory filed a lawsuit over the mandate, claiming “exemptions have been unduly denied and their constitutional rights are being violated by Triad National Security LLC, the contractor that runs the lab for the U.S. Department of Energy.”  

  
Hartford HealthCare fires 109 employees who wouldn’t take COVID-19 vaccine | 22 Oct 2021

Hartford HealthCare has fired 109 employees who refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine, chief clinical officer Dr. Ajay Kumar said Friday. Of more than 26,500 Hartford HealthCare employees, 99.8% either got vaccinated or received an exemption, Kumar said. Kumar said all physicians and advanced practitioners had been vaccinated or received an exemption. The 109 unvaccinated employees, he said, were spread across numerous job categories including environmental services, nursing and IT, among others.  

GOP leaders escalate battle against COVID-19 vaccine mandates | 23 Oct 2021

Republicans this week escalated their battle against the Biden administration over federal COVID-19 vaccine mandates this week, calling for Biden to backtrack from the requirements that they consider unconstitutional violations of American rights. GOP officials in states including Florida, Alabama and Arizona took steps to push back on the looming requirement for businesses with more than 100 employees to require workers to be vaccinated or tested regularly. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is considered a potential 2024 presidential candidate, on Thursday requested a special session of the state legislature focused on combating the mandates after previously floating plans to sue the administration.

 
Florida Governor Calls for Special Session to Counter Vaccine and Mask Mandates | 21 Oct 2021

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Oct. 21 called for a special legislative session to consider bills countering vaccine and mask mandates. The move follows a series of CCP virus vaccine mandates imposed by the administration of President Joe Biden. This does not sit well with the Florida Governor, and he has “had enough” of federal interference into state business, Christina Punshaw, Press Secretary told the Epoch Times. The legislative proposals include the provision of reemployment assistance to people who are fired due to failure to comply with an employer’s vaccine mandate. Under another proposal, Floridians who have an adverse reaction to a vaccine would be eligible for workers’ compensation.

Florida educators tied mask to disabled student’s face for 6 weeks without parents’ consent, father says | 23 Oct 2021

A Florida father is accusing educators at his daughter’s elementary school of forcing his daughter with Down syndrome to wear a mask by tying it to her head for about six weeks. Jeffery Steele’s daughter, Sofia Steele, is nonverbal and has an enlarged tongue. On Oct. 7, Sofia stepped off of the school bus with a mask, wet from her saliva, tied to her head with a thin, nylon string, Steele told Fox News Digital, but she did not leave for school with a mask on that day or any day prior. Sofia has an individual education plan (IEP), and educators are supposed to inform parents of any changes made to their children’s IEPs, Steele said. But the school never informed him or his wife that they were going to require Sofia to wear a mask, and no one asked the parents for their consent in tying it to her face during school.

Former CDC Director Says Over 40% of Recent Maryland COVID Deaths Were of People Fully Vaccinated | 20 Oct 2021

In an apparent challenge to the repeated claim that controversial COVID-19 vaccines may not make you less likely to contract the virus, but will make you less likely to become critically ill, former CDC director Robert Redfield revealed that over 40% of COVID-19 deaths in Maryland have been vaccinated. Redfield, who previously oversaw the CDC during the Trump administration and now serves as nominally Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan’s senior advisor on COVID-19, made the claims during an appearance on Fox News earlier this week. “A lot of times people may feel it’s a rare event that fully vaccinated people die,” said Redfield. “I happen to be the senior advisor to Governor Hogan in the state of Maryland. In the last six to eight weeks, more than 40% of people who died in Maryland were fully vaccinated,” Redfield said while discussing the death of former Secretary of State Colin Powell.

Rep. Glenn “G.T.” Thompson (R-Pa.) disclosed Friday that he had tested positive for COVID-19 despite being vaccinated, hours after he had voted in person on the House floor. Thompson’s office said in a statement that he “began experiencing cold-like symptoms” on Friday afternoon and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. Thompson, 62, is being treated at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center “out of an abundance of caution,” his office added. Thompson is the 18th member of Congress — among 14 in the House and four in the Senate — to test positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated.

Teen dies of heart attack after having Covid-19 vaccine because it was mandated by his hockey team

A 17-year-old boy in Canada died of a heart attack at home on September 27th reportedly two weeks after he received a Covid-19 injection. Sean Hartman is said to have suffered from “multiple” health problems “immediately” after the jab, including myocarditis, or heart inflammation. He received the COVID jab in order to be able to play hockey in an arena where the shot is required for entry… “Contrary to what a number of people have said, there is no such thing as ‘mild myocarditis,'” said Canadian professor of medicine Dr. Steven Pelech. He has noted that when the heart cells die from myocarditis “they are not replaced in your body and are instead replaced by scar tissue, which is from fibroblasts.”

The Polish-Canadian pastor who has been jailed for holding church services in Calgary, Alberta, said he will refuse to obey a court order mandating him to publicly echo the established opinions of medical experts regarding COVID-19. Pastor Artur Pawlowski was sanctioned by Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Adam Germain to 18 months of probation, according to a written ruling released Friday. In addition to tens of thousands of dollars in costs and fines, one condition of Pawlowski’s probation requires him to parrot “the majority of medical experts in Alberta” regarding social distancing, mask wearing and vaccines, even when he speaks in church… Pawlowski told Fox News he has no intention of complying with Germain’s sanction, which he condemned as “unconstitutional,” “illegal,” and a clear instance of “compelled speech like in China and North Korea.” Pawlowski said the judge’s condition is “without precedent” in Canada, an assertion echoed by his lawyer, Sarah Miller, who described Germain’s sanction as “bizarre” and “likely unconstitutional” under Section 2 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which guarantees freedom of expression.

White House delays release of JFK assassination files ‘to protect against identifiable harm’ | 23 Oct 2021

The White House said Friday it would delay the release of long-classified documents related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy. Joe Biden wrote in a statement that the remaining files “shall be withheld from full public disclosure” until December 15 next year — nearly 60 years after Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas, Texas in 1963. In 2017, President Donald Trump released several thousand secret files on the assassination, but withheld others on national security grounds. The White House said the national archivist needs more time for a review into that redaction, which was slowed by the pandemic. [?]
