A Newbury man died Tuesday, October 12 after being thrown from his pickup truck after it crashed into a ditch.

Tuesday at 5 pm, state troopers responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover crash on Tyler Farm Rd. in Newbury. The driver, Ronald Getz, 63, of Newbury, died before the police arrived.

Police say Getz was travelling south on Tyler Farm Rd. when he lost control of his GMC pickup truck, crashed into a ditch, and was ejected. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
