Saturday evening (10/11) I saw Elon Musk’s brother’s Jet at the Airport in Berlin, Vermont.
I was riding from Morrisville to Williamstown hauling a large trailer with my friend. Rather than taking the Barre-Montpelier road through Berlin and Barre with the large trailer, he decided to go up and around the Edward F. Knapp State Airport in Berlin because the roads were safer and less stressful with a large unit.
While passing the airport we noticed a few by-planes and small private jets. As we got towards the end of the runway going south we noticed a very large private jet.
“Wow, that is a big boy. Whoever that belongs to has some serious money,” said my friend.
“I bet there is a way we could figure out whose jet that is,” I said.
“See if you can catch the registration number and look it up,” said.
“N831FR,” I said out loud as we drove by and typed it into my phone.
Below are the search results, matching the plane and the number:
“The Gulfstream G600 private jet with the registration number N831FR is owned by Kimbal Musk,” said the results. Gulfstream G-600 Private jets aren’t cheap. Brand new, they sell at the base price of $45 Million.
We thought it was possible that it might be a name we recognized, but we certainly did not expect the jet to match the brother of the richest man in the world (Elon Musk).
Again, we were driving with a large truck and trailer and by the time the search results had popped up on my phone we had already passed the airport.
I did not snap a picture nor did we even think to go back as we were in the middle of a mission. Nor do we even have substantiated evidence that Kimbal Musk was actually even in Vermont. It could have just been his plane…
However Kimbal Musk, is a chef, entrepreneur, and food activist focused on sustainable, farm-to-table initiatives through his restaurant group, The Kitchen, and nonprofit Big Green, which builds school gardens nationwide. Vermont is known for its strong local food scene, organic farming, and agricultural heritage and aligns closely with his work.

If they leave it parked anywhere, they better keep an eye on it so it doesn’t end up with a custom “paint job”. The radical moonbat community is in turmoil regarding Elon these days though and their cult cant decide whether they like him or hate him now.
On no!!! Don’t tell me VDC is becoming groupie like, in the selection of stories to publish. Leave people traveling in VT in peace, unless they are breaking the law. Where they go and who they see is their business.
Nah! We just think it’s cool when, while returning from a job site out in the woods, Paul happened to see KM’s jet at the Knapp airport. I mean – aren’t you kind of curious why, Bill? I was….and am. My money’s on his farm-to-plate restaurant passion.

What was he doing in Vermont? What do billionaires or Hollywood celebrities do here in Vermont? We’ll never know and that is precisely why they come here.

Not really Guy, but I am curious of the Chinese consul generals visit and all behind it and who, what ,why made it possible, who he met and where they visited and what the follow up is… but Elon’s brother? Not really, but I bet it is not to move to VT ,move his business and fortune here, and become a citizen of the state. No way Jose. You can take that to the bank.
