Burlington police are investigating an Aug. 10 crash involving an e-scooter and a bus that left a woman seriously injured.

The crash occurred at about 4:08 PM at North Street and Elmwood Avenue. Police said the female scooter operator was stabilized at the scene and transported by the Burlington Fire Department to the University of Vermont Medical Center with serious injuries. The male bus driver remained at the scene.

Police said both the bus and scooter had been traveling southbound on Elmwood Avenue. Anyone with information, including passengers who were on the bus, is asked to contact Sgt. LaCouture at 802-540-2165.
