A Boston Globe columnist, Kevin Cullen, chronicled Lynda Bluestein’s journey in a story published on Jan. 26. “But a controversy has arisen over whether or not Cullen crossed journalistic lines by becoming too personally involved in the story,” the Poynter Institute for Media Studies points out. Cullen signed a form, required under Vermont law, that Bluestein was in a clear state of mind when she made the decision to end her life. “On the one hand, he wanted his story to progress,” a Poynter senior vice president said. “On the other hand, he was nudging it forward, directly intervening in the story so that it would progress.” |
| Nearly two dozen skiers needed rescue in Killington – The Rutland Herald covered this story last month about how 23 skiers — many of whom did not know each other — wound up out of bounds in Killington. Search and rescue teams had to be called in. Outside also picked up the story. “It’s powder fever,” a Vermont State Police search and rescue coordinator told Outside. |

What Kevin Cullen allegedly did is no different than schools or councilors telling children they are in the wrong body and need to be surgically and chemically altered. As mind numbing as it is, the cultist movement is the devil stealing souls on a daily basis.
The few own the many because they possess the means of livelihood of all … The country is governed for the richest, for the corporations, the bankers, the land speculators, and for the exploiters of labor. The majority of mankind are working people. So long as their fair demands – the ownership and control of their livelihoods – are set at naught, we can have neither men’s rights nor women’s rights. The majority of mankind is ground down by industrial oppression in order that the small remnant may live in ease
“Aye, fight and you may die. Run and you’ll live, at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom!”
I’ll stand with a Braveheart any day . . .
If any person has knowingly engaged in such an act as this so as to advance their own career or political achievements, that person has instead effectively taken their own life. They have compromised their dignity & their humanity graced to them by God and it will be God to whom they must answer, should they have committed such atrocity. Legislators: whether you “believe” in God or not, all the universe and much of science points to His existence, and it will be to God that you too must answer.
in states with open primaries, ALL democrats should request a republican ballot and vote for Nikki Haley.
I believe that’s called election interference & you just put it in writing.
Trump was already invited by the national GOP to accept the nomination & he turned it down based upon his allegiance to a FREE election unencumbered by fraud as in banana republics like the one you aspire the USA to be.
Disgraceful & pathetic.

Another liberal double-standard…when a Globe writer can make a poster child out of someone seeking to end their own life but laws are proposed or passed to prevent someone from teaching others how to defend their own lives using Constitutionally-protected tools and have liberals define that as “militia training”. Even Orwell couldn’t make this stuff up.
It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World Mr. Lachapelle. I would love to know what Mr. Orwell would have to say about our world today. Wouldn’t that be fascinating?!
