A young Vermont couple took to the streets of Montpelier Sunday with provocative ‘Charlie Kirk’ styled signs to show support of the slain conservative activist.
“Charlie Kirk died a hero, prove me wrong,” said one sign. “The left is a cult. Change my mind.” said the other.
Tyler Kardashian pictured on the left below with his girlfriend told VDC, “My intention was to make my voice heard, and hopefully draw the attention, and listen to the voice of others in peaceful discourse. I know that I’m politically outnumbered in the capital. I hoped that in the fallout of a slain youth political voice, that there could maybe be common ground, or someone would at least come to the table.”
“I found that instead, I was met with intimidation and menace, hateful rhetoric, chants of joy over Charlie’s death, and little helpful conversation. There were some who gave me fists of support and yells of ‘We miss Charlie’ But that was overshadowed by overwhelming vitriol.”
“The passing of Charlie Kirk has frustrated us due to the unjust and irrational nature of his murder. Charlie’s death ignited a wave of faith and unison bigger than anyone can imagine. We are fighting a moral and spiritual war,” Kardashian said.
Elsewhere in Vermont, about 300 Vermonters gathered Sunday evening at Ignite Church in Williston for a candle at Ignite Church in Williston in honor of slain conservative leader Charlie Kirk.
“We love you Erika!” said the crowd of 300 in a video sent to Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow. On Facebook, that video now has 190K+ views, thousands of likes, and tons of comments saying from viewers who wish they had known about the event so they could have attended.
It is fitting that the vigil was held at Ignite, the site of his June, 2021 initial visit to Vermont. The meeting was a stepping stone to organize Turning Point USA in Vermont and to develop support for his October, 2021 rally with UVM students at a South Burlington hotel.
Paster Todd Callahan, Senior Paster of Ignite Church told VDC Sunday about he and his wife’s relationship with Charlie Kirk and how it was formed.
“When we reopened the church, we had closed for just a little bit trying to figure out what this whole covid thing was,” said Callahan in reference to 2020 when his church had been closed for around two months because of covid restrictions. “I was sitting at my kitchen table and I told my wife, you know what we got to reopen. We cannot allow the government to restrict our freedom of worship. So we did. I connected with Erika on Instagram, actually by leaving a comment on her shoes. And she looked at my Instagram account, researched the Church and found out that we were open. She sent me a message and said, ‘do you mind if I tell Charlie that you guys are open?’ I said of course. He sent me a message and said ‘Can I come encourage your congregation? He came in June in 2021 to encourage the Church and from that day on the relationship with Charlie was incredible.”
During the candle light vigil Todd had mentioned that since they had formed their relationship back in 2021, Charlie’s family and his have maintained regular contact and to hear of his assassination was truly devastating.
There will be a candle light vigil for Charlie in Springfield at Riverside Middle School on Friday, beginning at 7PM.

Talk about going into the belly of the beast. Montpelier.
The left had been emboldened because we have been cowed by their aggressiveness and twisted rhetoric.
Now is the time to fight back, as we where see the results of being cowed has gotten the state of affairs in Vermont, and the rest of the country.
Now we must document all their aggression, ID the aggressors, photograph/video them ,ID them ,photo their cars, and plate numbers ,and turn over to the FBI, including a description of what they did, but most important any lawmakers ,elected officials ,their staffers, and state government workers, including teachers ,professors, school administrators.
We must stop public servants from spreading their poison and division on the taxpayer dime.
It is time to fight back, and not let them get away with this anti American BS anymore!

Ron Wondering: They claim Charlie’s speech brought consequences, but cry victimhood under the 1st amendment when they are held accountable for their hateful speech. The hypocrisy is rich.
Charlie Kirk did die a hero. The man Loved his family, his God and country. He wanted to share it with the world. He treated everyone with respect and dignity, even when viewpoints clashed between he and others. He understood humanity and desired to make the world a much better place, for everyone. He did it all with Love. He did it with constant knowledge this might be his fate. He set the ultimate example. The world should strive to follow it.

Courageous couple considering how unhinged so many on the left have proven themselves to be. VT used to be, not very long ago, a “live & let live” state.
I hope those who are energetic & so inclined enough to wear their socio-political & even religious beliefs on their sleeve that they carry and/or bring a nice German-bred Rottie with them on the end of a lead — well-mannered enough that people can approach but ready to do business if need be. As is said, a well-trained dog can be called back (off) but a bullet cannot.
And if you conceal carry, the fools may presume you aren’t carrying at all & attempt to incite or injure you, while with the dog – that’s less likely to occur for obvious reasons. Rotties are quite intimidating. For good reason. Ask the ancient Romans.
The problem we face is not a right or left issue. It is overhaeated rehtoric, the demonozing of those which whom we disagree, a society where violence is celebrated and the extreme views on both sides get the most attention. As you sow, so shall you reap, and for too long, too many have been sowing hate and not the love and compassion central to the teachings of Jesus. For the sake of our Republic, we must do better and strive to sto the killings and violence that have taken place to both Republicans and Democrats, as well as the weekly school shootings plaguing our country.
No! It is not both sides wreaking havoc. It is only the left. In Mr. Kirk style, prove me wrong: which Republicans have assassinated anyone, which of the most recent mass shootings have been Republicans or MAGA if you will? How many Republicans burned down businesses in response to this heinous crime?
Well, I agree that both sides are part of the problem, myself included. There is a fine line in describing marxism and saying the left if bad.
The real kryptonite of this whole game we thrown into is divided we fall, with hatred we are controlled. When you hate the left, they, the NWO have won. In reality the “left” is your brother, sister, father, mother and neighbor.
Both can be right and both can be wrong at the same time.
It is in this prideful argument that “I’m right and I’ll prove it” that we all lose. The left says, love is love and we are open to express it anyway we chose. The right says, only marriage between a man and women. Ancients, knew there were different types of love, and lust was different, we don’t even have the discussion of familial love, brotherly love, erotic love, agape love……..hell we are teaching our kids lust and calling it love.
But God looks on all of us and says, you’re a sorry mess, as Jesus explained to us, we are all guilty of not following Gods’ law and commit adultery, in our hearts. If our churches wouldn’t allow sexual sinners, there would be no church.
Until we all realize we are guilty of sin, we can’t change, we can’t have the peace Christ so desperately wants to give us. Follow me he says.
Saying “Prove me wrong” is almost as prideful as a pride flag, though he was seeking the truth and perhaps getting a bit closer. We can’t think we are inerrant, that is will keep us forever, in constant battle.
We are not only supposed to love our neighbor, but love our enemy, that is not so easy.

I don’t hate the left, never said I did. I hate what they represent and that they LIE ALL the time. That is why Mr Kirk was so successful, he espoused love for everyone whether they agreed or not. Prove me wrong is asking for facts you are assuming my mind can not be changed. Never ass u me! And yet no one has answered any of the questions I posed. The both sided argument is just a distraction for the left to shift blame….squirrels everywhere.
The both sides argument does not work. The violence is coming from the left. The examples are too numerous to mention. Socialists and tyrants kill people; they always kill people. Why? Because it’s about Power and Control. If our Constitution was followed to the letter, there could never be a Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini or Mao. They were all socialists.
1929 – Russia disarms its citizens. Between 1929 & 1953 20 million Russians murdered by communists.
1935 – China disarms its citizens. Between 1948 & 1952 20 million Chinese murdered. However, in China they believe it’s more like 100 million murdered by communists.
1938 – Germany disarms its citizens. Between 1939 & 1945 over 13 million Jews and
other nationalities murdered by National Socialists.
1956 – Cambodia disarms its citizens. Between 1975 & 1977 1 million educated
Cambodians murdered by Communists.
Pride is the root of all fighting.

or taken to the extreme we have today, where both sides are calling each other dictators, nazi, racist and guess what both are correct, and both are wrong.
NONE< NONE< NONE of us can keep the 10 commandments.
Thou shalt not kill is one of them.
Jesus said, you ALL have broken this commandment, because you have ALL had hatred in your hearts. I try my best to keep this at bay, but I have to admit, I am not perfect….there is the rub. You can be pretty good, but guess what none of us are perfect…
THAT is my point. NONE of us are perfect. And pride has filled us with so much self-righteousness that we can't see, or can't have compassion for others who are in the same problem.
Now you can me more right than wrong, I'll give you that. You can be fooled or conned into a lie, I'll give you that. You can become part of a tribe, go team, I'll give you that. But do you want to die on the hill of I'm a Red Sox Vs. Yankees hill?
How about we are ALL, ALL Children of God, we are all flawed, we need to be more loving and forgiving, not self-righteous? And perhaps have some compassion for those that think they are a furry but clearly are a bit lost. You don't have hatred toward somebody that doesn't believe in the law of gravity, you have compassion and patience, that they might be a bit misguided. Calling them dumb, doesn't help the situation. They do have to suffer the consequences of their actions, our sin always finds us out.
Fighting is the ground upon which we lose, every time, exposing the truth does not. It is considered the lowest form of warfare by Sun Tzu.
Everybody has family that can no longer speak about anything political, when 15 years ago this did not exist. People can't have family gatherings without fights. This is how they win, this is how they won.
Peace. Loving each other is pure kryptonite for the uniparty. It would collapse within a month, it would be all over, we'd have peace.
It is why when the United States was at war and had POW, they were treated, well. It immediately exposed the warring countries propaganda, it was love for our enemy that made America great, as it was a biblical principle, Love You Enemy, that was the true greatness.
And I stand by the statement, that yes we all have a bit of hatred in our hearts now and then. The reason why the cancel culture has such power, is because we are ALL, ALL flawed, finding somebody breaking the 10 commandments or doing something wrong, at least in God's eyes, is the easiest thing on the planet. Until we understand that, we will really struggle moving forward.
I am a sinner, I have broken every single one of the commandments, on a regular basis, Lord help heal and direct my heart, I ask in your name Jesus Christ.

These two souls get out on the streets in Montpelier to represent those that support God, our country, and free speech opening themselves up to the ongoing hateful rhetoric and vitriol. Meanwhile, our handsomely paid Congress Representative, Becca Balint cancels her public meetings and cowers behind a photo of herself holding up a book proclaiming how lead with Dignity.
What is needed is for us to be able to go beyond our partisan divide and apply the same standards to all. It is hypocritical of Democracts to complain about the President not following the rule of law while not be willing to have immigration laws be enforced. Likewise it is hyporcrital of Republican businessmen and farmers to support immigration laws being enforced but to expect exemptions for their businesses. As one who is not afraid to challenge assumptions and hold people accountable, I have often found the harshest pushback from my liberal friends and colleagues. While often not in agreement with my positions, there is sometimes a good deal more understanding from my conservative friends. In the case of political violence, which is happenng on both sides, ( this year’s killing of the Speaker of the House in Minnesota and the setting on fire of the Governor’s home in Pennsylvania by right wing fanatics being two examples) there needs to be one standard of absolutely condemnation and zero tolerance from all Americans.
Thank you for that reminder. But I believe Shapiro’s home was targeted because he is Jewish by the left antisemitic hamas crowd. And thank you for being willing to have the discussion which is what all this is about!
John, they want us fighting, without a doubt. When we did research on what the competition was doing, (political parties) and the messages they were sending to all their “people” it was very, very revealing.
What was even more revealing is how encamped people were by their teams. And this encampment was intentional.
An easy example, We suggested, I’ve suggested taxing porn for example. “Republicans” are instantly against raising taxes. The whole point is to curb the use, as we know if you tax it too high……they won’t buy it. This was an agreement from the left on the legalization of pot in Vermont. Yet Republicans are supposedly against porn, but we can’t tax that, yet we tax every other form of “entertainment”.
We have to keep on our team, we can’t root for, do or think in any other fashion, and now it’s becoming a bit more hardened on the conservative side too.
It they can keep us divided, they can bring about a civil war, like the Bantu and Tutsis, that is their goal, then they pick up the pieces afterward and bring in a more strident oligarch than we currently have.
A friend once told me, after our political party dissolved, the only thing the two parties can agree upon is…..
They don’t want a third.
And they don’t, you would think they would if the other side was truly so “evil”, but the genius truth about my friends statement is they are really the same, hence uniparty, hence they want no other outside thought or independent thought than what they are pushing. Vermont politics is a perfect ideal setting for the uniparty, it’s why neither side wants change. If they did it would happen. Proof is in the pudding as they say.
It’s also why Vermont Digger had to take away their comment boards, because people like us have figured out their game and they don’t want exposure.
To the point of both sides wanting us fighting and keeping us in perspective camps, our Green Mountain Party was banned from even mentioning our name in the two major online “news organizations” in Vermont at the time. You’ll note I can freely and easily print anything on Vermont Daily Chronicle about the Green Mountain Party and there is no censorship whatsoever.
However, on Vt Digger, I was forbidden to use the name of our party in any comments, though I could freely speak about Democratic Party and Republican Party, I can show you the emails, We were also sand bagged by their reporting…..
AND
True North Reports, ALSO forbid me and censored my personal comments from containing the phrase Green Mountain Party.
Both were prospective tools of their own party…..
What they don’t say, or don’t allow to be said, are sometimes the most important things…..that is how the chinese in Hong Kong, know what main land china is up to, by the censorship, same holds very true for Vermont, sadly.
When the public square or public property becomes a political battlefield, war zone, an open invite to rage at your neighbors, provoke, agitate, or malign a fellow indebted slave brother/sister, the plan is working as designed. As long as Americans keep fighting over political theater and theatrics – all the better for the overlords – they’re bank accounts overfloweth with glee while ours drain out.
Both sides of the adult toddler brigades need a time out and/or a spanking. While the People are at each other’s throats, plotting/hoping the demise of each other, and making statements that are not based in logic or common sense – we are finished, done, kaput. Politics has taken on an evil, destructive, disgusting stance against humanity and what it means to be human, what it means to be a “community.” Not cool, not good, I am not for sale – yet people are selling out and selling their souls over lies and deceptions. A trauma based, endless drama society will not and cannot survive, let alone thrive. The wars rage on, the death and destruction continues here and abroad, and all Americans can do is jump on the current bandwagon, react rather than contemplate, and run like lemmings toward the cliff that is set up and directions provided by the most dispicible scoundrals among us – Lord, do have mercy!
