Coming Events: Roper to speak in Manchester / public school expose film / Symposium / GOP work meeting

Rob Roper, former president of the Ethan Allen Institute and currently an EAI board member, will speak at the Manchester Library on April 22 from 5:30 – 7 pm on the topic, ‘What will Vermont climate policy mean for you?’

Roper will discuss Vermont’s future under the proposed green agenda. Can Vermont afford the plans put forward by our legislators?  What excessive costs will the green agenda rain down on Vermont inhabitants?

The library is located at 138 Cemetary Avenue. Roper will speak for about 45 minutes and will take questions afterwards.

Whose Children Are They?, a documentary film, will air Saturday May 7, 2022 at 1:30 PM

Ignite Church, 1037 South Brownell Road, Williston.

The film is billed as a groundbreaking and powerfully persuasive documentary featuring brave teachers, empowered parents, and front-line experts who pull back the curtain about what is happening in our public schools today.

Ticket cost: Adults: $12.11, Children under 12: $10.09. Attendees are asked to please bring a $2-per-ticket cash donation to support the venue.

In addition to the film, this event will also provide attendees with an opportunity to network with other parents, teachers & citizens and to work together for the benefit of their children and of their children’s future. An Americanism. Vs. Marxism symposium will be held April 23 in Montpelier. 

The event will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022. 10am to 4pm, at the Lighthouse Christian Church, 3 St. Paul Street. There will be an hour break around 1pm for lunch.
