Vermont’s U.S. Representative incorrectly interprets decision

Vermont’s openly-gay congresswoman is blasting the nation’s highest court for banning transgender kids from sports, but that’s not what the panel did.
The US Supreme Court ruled Hune 30 boys who claim they are girls can neither play on girls sports teams nor go into their locker rooms.
So Democrat Becca Balint is incorrect telling her constituents the court is “allowing states to ban trans athletes from participating in school sports.”
All the majority justices voted to do was prevent boys claiming to be the opposite gender from playing on girls teams.
So the bottom line is so-called trans kids are welcome to be athletes – but not on mixed-gender squads.
“Knowing there are some parents whose kids are not gonna be able to participate in elementary school or middle school sports because they are trans kids is just absolutely heartbreaking to me,” Balint said in her Facebook video message. “And I understand for so many Americans, these issues are hard, and there’s so much misinformation and fear attached to issues around trans kids.”
Actually the misinformation is Balint’s for misstating the court’s majority ruling.
The court, in an opinion written by Brett Kavanaugh, said that “the states may maintain women’s and girls’ sports for biological females. They may determine eligibility for women’s and girls’ sports based on biological sex.”
That of course is not what Balint is claiming.
Balint, elected to the U.S. House four years ago is the first openly “LGBTQ” person to represent Vermont in Congress.

I can see why she was confused, there were a lot of big words in the decision, most with more than two syllables.
While that by itself is alarming, think of the idiots who voted for her.
Becca and Ketanji Brown Jackson are twins.
She is very adept at making a fool of herself. Maybe that is her best attribute. Do us a favor, go away. You are an embarrassment.
She is the total embodiment of why I will never vote for “gender confusion”. aka democratic socialism. I am thankful my children are grown and on their own. Allowing social manufacturing(i.e. sex change counseling at schools absent parental consent or even knowledge), confusion as to a biological male identifying as a female, etc. is totally unacceptable but now the “norm” in Vermont. Ms. Balint is free to have her opinions…..not to impose her “moral” code on her constituents. How about doing your job and managing Vermont’s needs vs. your view of “reality”? What a novel old time concept~~~~work.
Do you recognize the true tragedy here? Many people living in Vermont take their news and guidance from only their side of the aisle, though the actual democrats are beginning to awaken and realize their train is headed for a missing bridge. Why do these progressives have a death wish? That is how it all ends for them. They have already consumed many helpings of koolaid punch.
Can we vote this liar out of office already? I don’t care what she does in her bedroom.
Since 2023, Rep Balint has introduced 43 bills in Congress , with only two making it to the floor, and only one passing the house. It doesn’t appear any have passed into law. She starting to build a track record like Bernie, who after 30 years in office has only passed 3 laws that he originated, and two of those were for renaming post offices in VT. Interesting read on some of the legislation that she has introduce. Her are some of them: “Combating Loneliness Act”, “Expressing support for the recognition of October 26, 2024, as Intersex Awareness Day, and supporting the goals and ideals of Intersex Awareness Day. (introduce a couple of times)”, ” Expressing support for the designation of the week of October 24, 2024, to October 31, 2024, as “Bat Week” (introduced 3 times), and “LGBTQI+ and Women’s History Education Act of 2023”. Leave Bernie alone. He’s too busy flying around the country on private jets getting communists elected to do anything for Vermont. He is however resting up on the 4th at one of his three houses so he can go back doing what he has been doing, NOTHING.
Balint should know that not all lesbians have been on board with inviting in the T’s into the LGB fold. Some like to maintain their separate spaces and activities for real (biological) women for the purposes of free association with those with a common biological bond, not based on psychology. Some sports are sex-segregated for the purposes of maintaining safety and competitiveness for women. Some sports have participation age brackets as well for the same reason. If you enjoy tennis or rugby and you are playing in a 60+ league, you would not like it if a 22-year old who for psychological reasons identifies as 52 years old, and colors their hair gray decides to dominate in your league. As your fellow democrats like to say: “follow the science” and allow biological sex and chronological age to define your qualifications. Your psychology can do as it pleases in the privacy of your own head. “Transgender” athletes have always been free to participate in sports and use the proper changing facilities they are biologically qualified for, they just have to “follow the science”. Get over yourself, Becca, you dont speak for all lesbian women.
