Trans singer opened rally with ‘”Your God has a big, fat….” and other lyrics sexualizing the God of the Bible and Jesus

Bernie Sanders called a song performed by a trans singer at a March 7 Oligarchy Tour rally “reprehensible,”a spokesperson said today.
He also said the song – or rather, the media backlash that began after Laura Jane Grace sang “Your God has a big, fat —-” in Kenosha, Wisconsin to open a Sanders rally – is “distracting from the crises we need to be focused on right now. “
VDC emailed Vermont’s senior senator’s press office this morning for a comment. In return, press aide Anna Bahr replied:
“Senator Sanders is focused on fighting oligarchy and ending authoritarianism in America. He found the song’s lyrics reprehensible and distracting from the crises that we need to be focused on right now.”
In addition to an oft-sung chorus suggesting that God was ——- the singer, the song’s verses also contained strong sexual references to the God of the Jewish-Christian Bible and to his Son. Furthermore the chorus was picked up by many members of the cheering crowd – as its simple, repetitive nature suggests it was meant to be.

Get used to it Bernie, this is the new Demorat party you are a member of and because the chorus was picked up by many members of the cheering crowd – as its simple, repetitive nature suggests it was meant to be. It would be a fair question to ask senator sanders what type of government is that? Why are you not focused on Vermont in general and also on this specific topic.

This is a good view of how Bernie runs his whole career. He didn’t vet the Band that was going to open for him??? His Staff didn’t vet the Band that opened for him??? Bernie, face the music (as amoral the Dem/Prog tunes are these days) and please, for the love of God, step down and take Peter, Peter inside stock trader with you. He’s 83 freakin years old. Is he going to be like Senator Bird, Strom Thurmond, Saint Patrick Leahy, or Sleepy Joe Biden? All drugged up and wheeled in on a plush gurney to vote or attend a meeting?
It should be obvious the infirmed fossils like Maxine Waters, Dick Durbin, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, et al. need to go – Now! The only reason they are still in their seats is because they are an installed clown posse. Their staff are spook sponsored, providing all the drugs, pudding pops, diaper changes, and filing their coffee cups with Ensure – or in Nancy’s case, Vodka Gimlets. Laura Jane Grace performed at a rally for Bernie during his 2020 presidential campaign. He knows her, knows her politics, and knows her style. For him to disown her now is both completely disingenuous and typical Bernie.
