A prominent Vermont lawyer, in an effort to try to get his new wife a chance to live with him permanently at their Stowe home, has filed a federal lawsuit against top national figures, including U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Jon R. Eggleston and his new wife Julie Ciarallo also have named Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of U.S. Homeland Security and Ana Escrogima, counsel general in Montreal, as defendants in the case filed in U.S. District Court in Burlington.
The lawsuit seeks to have the defendants issue a long-delayed Immigrant Visa to Ciarallo, who married Eggleston on Valentine’s Day 2020.

Perhaps the wife can invest in a new business, create 10 jobs, and qualify for a US EB-5 pay to play citizenship card? There is also a group of immigrants that walks across the Quebec border with escorts – aka New Canadians/New Americans who are free to do whatever they want, no questions asked. Perhaps she can identify as one of the ethnic groups protected and selected for all rights afforded to some, but not for all. She can always change her gender (or pretend to) so she can be declared a protected class, cannot be discriminated against or prosecuted in any form or fashion.
Looks like Melissa and Sebastian have basically said all there is to say about this, said what I thought… and was afraid to say it???
