It is interesting to note that in 2026 the Vermont speaker of the House, Jill Krowinski and the Majority Leader of the Senate, Philip Baruth—both Democrats—resigned their positions from the Vermont Legislature. Then out of nowhere… Amanda Janoo, a Democratic Socialist with a new style of government, shows up to run for Governor.

Amanda Janoo studied Political Science at Macalester College in 2010 and went on to get her Masters of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge in 2023. She became a lead at the Wellbeing Economic Alliance and worked at the U.N. as a Structural Transformation Specialist. The consequences of Janoo being elected would be the rise of Democratic Socialism that has now taken over the Democrat Party in America. It has been proven in history that Socialism always fails! She is a newcomer with no realistic view of how to lead and help Vermont recover, only to transform Vermont into Globalism or a “One World government.”

By 2030, the Democrat Socialist Party in Vermont and much of our nation will base government policy on collective ownership of goods and services; not on private ownership or markets. We are now seeing the rise and results of class warfare in the claim that workers are kept down and exploited by business and manufacturing leaders and by the wealthy in forced seizure. The Party development and structure of their government is to own all energy, banking, communication and technology, the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare and now AI for data collection and storage. This would result in over-reaching surveillance on everyone.

Janoo and the Democratic Socialist Party seek the nationalization of our lives in Medicare, housing, childcare, education, news media, food production and farming. Their intent is also to abolish our police forces, prison systems, the Dept of War and the military, all aid to Israel and the legalizing of open migration. They will abolish the U.S. Constitution, the Electoral College and the U.S. Senate nationally. They will replace the President and the Supreme Court, and then install a judiciary chosen by one subordinate to one “Supreme People’s Congress” (Communism) by the dominant “blue” states. This would mean no checks and balances, no Federal Government and no Republic.

When Joe Biden was elected, he immediately adopted Bernie Sanders’ agenda that led to a six trillion-dollar tax hike on “equity policies,” international collapse of border security, censorship of opposition views and the totally unconstitutional attempt to erase all student debt, which would have been just shifted to American taxpayers. All of this is related to the brilliant plan of the Democratic Socialists to just resist and blame President Trump. Most of our Public Schools are not teaching civics anymore so our children have no understanding of the differences between a Constitutional Republic, a Democracy, Socialism and Fascism, and not a keen, accurate interest in world and national history.

I personally feel we need to have more of a “watchguard” on all data (and what is being done with it…) and on people serving in our Federal, State and Local Governments; what they are doing and why, and where every cent of our tax dollars is going!

The current violent, destructive, looting riots in France is the result of a nation that has a Socialistic “free everything” yet has no real protection for their citizens. And of course, their leaders again blame President Trump. If I.C.E. didn’t do what they are doing, we will end up just like France.

I encourage all to consider and even know that no man is perfect, but VOTE for Governor Scott and our Republican candidates into office on November 3rd.
