A 14-year-old Weston girl died Wednesday evening following an ATV crash on private property off Vermont Route 100, Vermont State Police said.
Gabriela Spencer, 14, was operating a 2016 Honda Pioneer 700 ATV when the crash occurred. State police received a 911 call at about 7:06 PM Aug. 19 reporting that Spencer had suffered serious injuries.
Weston Fire Department and Londonderry EMS responded along with state troopers. First responders provided extensive medical aid, but Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
An 18-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The crash occurred on private property off Route 100 in Weston. Weather was warm and clear.
