Williamstown postmaster charged for child porn

A U.S. Postal Service employee has been ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court in Barre on child pornography charges following a raid at his home, officials said.

Joshua Pierce, 34, had his home in Northfield searched by state, federal, county and local law enforcement on Friday, officials said. Few details were known as to what happened leading up to the court-ordered search.

The U.S. Postal Service website lists Pierce as Postmaster for the town of Williamstown as of Aug. 24, 2024. He was the third postmaster named in 2024 for the town, the website said.

Repeated attempts to reach Pierce were unsuccessful on Saturday. Two phone numbers listed for him were out of commission. It was unknown if Pierce had a defense lawyer for the case.

The Vermont Attorney General’s Office, which has a special division that handles elaborate child pornography cases and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations are leading the case.

Also part of the early morning raid at the mobile home on West Hill Road were officers from Randolph and Burlington Police.

Northfield allowed authorities to use its police station to process Pierce, who was eventually released with a court citation.

Attempts during the weekend to learn more about the unannounced police raid were limited.

Multiple area residents alerted Vermont News First to the raid, which surprised some people.

  1. Vermont should pass a law that you have to be 18 in order, or 21….even better to view porn, need id, etc. They do it in other states.

    Vermont should tax porn, heavily, it’s base entertainment at it’s best, it’s programmed mind control for destruction of a person/family/country as the most likely purpose.

    This will not happen in Vermont, because we don’t know truth from lies, love from lust, we are controlled by the wrong spirit.

    This would be an easy get for the VTGOP to stand up for women, children and tax something to raise money and ideally curb its use.

    Sexual sins, the misuse of God’s gift, outside of marriage has catastrophic consequences across the board. Unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, broken families, broken hearts and in this case a soul completely ruined by a cascading sexual sin.

    It is not a coincidence that the primary porn across all platforms changed to interfamilial porn during the lock down. Who thought that was a good idea? What good could come of that?

    Where are the religious leaders? Why aren’t they talking about this?

    Nobody wants to talk about, this is thriving in darkness, as evil loves to operate in the dark, we need to just shine a light on it.

    • You put way too much trust in government to do what “you want”. Internet ID is EXACTLY what the government wants you to beg of them. They would love nothing more than to require everyone to enter their ID to login to the internet, and use it as a weapon against you. They want to monitor every single thing you do and put it in your social credit score, whereby you can be targeted directly for any views you have that may not align with their narrative.

      You do something they deemed “hate speech”, they throw a flash bang in your bed at 3am, you get dragged off, and your dog gets shot.       It is our duty and responsibility to secure our own internet if we have children. If you don’t know how to do that, you can pay a professional who can do it for you. Stop begging government to fix all your problems. Stop begging government to tax us. I’m sure they already tax porn purchases if that makes you happy.

    • They don’t need porn to bring in social credit scores that’s for sure!

      They already know everything about you on the internet, your cell phone and where you stand and walk with your phone, don’t be fooled they don’t need your id. Porn sites can control where their sites are seen by geo location.

      Did you buy a smart tv? A smart meter on your house? Do you have a ring door bell? Do you have Alexa in your house? lol……..

      They don’t tax what they want to become rampant, why?

      Think a bit more.

      They could just tax every view without knowing whom views it.

      They are trying and succeeding in ruining young men and women. The current path is not a good one. But hey enjoy your porn, they used to have you show id before buying penthouse, now they pipe it into your 7 year olds phone and our state says if a parent interferes with the sexual desires of your child they will arrest you for stopping a sex change.

      What you say is already in the works, porn has nothing to do with it.

      Lust is not love. Lust and money are traps they set for the unwary.

    • That phone in your hands is the biggest tracking and propaganda tool ever invented. They can send you sale items for stores as you walk by their front door, when you walk down the store aisle. Oh yeah and NY just started demand parking prices based upon how many people are in the area.

      Our uniparty in Vermont has already sold us out, all while everybody is tuned into buffy screwing her step dad. Don’t take the bait.

    • The ONLY people who they can’t seem to break into their phones or know what they were doing are school shooters and lone wolves doing some stupid stuff.

      Everybody else they seem to know exactly what they are doing. Hell, you get different ads from conversations you have with friends, but no, nobody is listening. How do you think Alexa knows when to turn on? She’s listening and recording everything you say!

      Just ask those folks who went to January 6th event, oh yeah, you can’t can you. Nobody is charged with the crime of insurrection, but they are still in jail, 4 years later with no charges brought against them. Huh…

      There is one way out of this mess, I never would have believed it, but it’s true. Even those who set up the subversion of our state and country say it’s true. TGBTG

  2. We got rid of some banned books at the State House that were outside of the Lt. Governor’s office. Who has checked – have they been removed from the school libraries?

    There was a school board meeting in MA where the parent was protesting the presence of Gender Queer on the shelves. A number of parents backed up his comments by parading with large posters made from the pages of the book. The media couldn’t post their pictures – it was too pornographic for their audience.
