  1. Can anyone find out the AGEs of the “unvaccinated”Vermonters who are the problem?” Is it the kids? The teenagers? Because I bet the people in the ICUs are very old, and if you are over 70 and “unvaccinated” in a state where almost 100% of people over 65 are vaccinated, it’s probably because they were too sick already to risk the shots. It’s disingenuous to just blame the “unaxxed” without taking this into account.

The WCAX article about “5% of unvaccinated Vermonters” claims “Data shows that 5% of adults who are still not vaccinated account for 75% of hospitalizations and up to 90% of those in intensive care.” This statement is disingenuous: the state’s recently released COVID-19 statistics pertain to NOT FULLY VACCINATED. Per CDC, a person is only considered fully vaccinated by the CDC two weeks after receiving their full doses. Inquiring minds what to know: what proportion of NOT FULLY VACCINATED hospitalizations are RECENTLY VACCINATED? It is time to stop jiggling the statistics to favor a particular path forward.
