Warner: Trump verdict crosses the Rubicon

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

by Aaron Warner

Since the very first days Donald Trump won the 2016 election his political enemies, once respectfully called Democrats, made it clear they were going after him and his supporters with a vengeance.  Though he hadn’t been in office long enough to warrant impeachment Rashida Tlaib defiantly announced to a crowd of her fellow Americans and constituents they were going to “impeach the m****rf****r”.  This type of prophetic belligerence was a harbinger of what lay ahead.  Her colleague Maxine Waters rallied a crowd outside of the capitol building calling for, essentially violence, by her followers to verbally or otherwise assault Trump supporting Americans in public, which they would ultimately do, in restaurants and at their homes.  These weren’t the politics of disagreement but intimidation.

Why?  Donald Trump had the temerity to call out the legacy media for lying.  He slummed with soon to be pariahs like Alex Jones who had done the same in relative anonymity, that is, until it was discovered he had enough listeners to swing the vote in favor of Donald Trump.  Jones would become the first un-personed and de-platformed man in modern America.

Trump also played golf with troglodytes boozers like John Daley and Kid Rock.  He entertained himself in the uncouth manner of WWE wrestling and UFC fights.  Though once a darling insider invited to the swankiest parties he was never fully blue-blooded. He played the game while remaining true to himself as a lover of America and Americans.  Something Democrats, who fancy themselves champions of the oppressed, only do as virtue signaling.  They don’t love the homeless, they enable them.  They don’t love black people, they assume they’re too dumb to pass tests, get IDs, or succeed on a level playing field.  They confuse pandering for passion and excuses for empathy.

Yesterday’s verdict against Trump was the culmination of years of trying to convict him of some level of high crimes or misdemeanors (turned felonies) since the moment he upset the deep state darling Hillary Clinton.  Despite triumphantly announcing her leading in the polls 90% to 10%, with media in her pocket and derisive laughter from would-be journalists and celebrities mocking Trump, the American people carried him to victory.  I, like so many others, was in disbelief the morning I saw his victory announced.  Though I was well aware of a corrupt and cult-like media apparatus which had been exposed for dutifully lying to Americans about everything from the JFK assassination to global cooling then global warming then climate change, constantly on high alert for the next “crisis” I still believed the pollsters were faithful.

Yet the last eight years have seen the falling down of virtually every institution and every public hero exposing this great nation for its inherent and fatal flaw – belief that its greatness is assumed and not earned.

Medicine no longer has the pristine integrity of the symbolic white coats worn by doctors.  Thanks to social media we know now our healthcare system is basically a sick-care system run by Big Pharma.

Science has lost its way as we’ve learned “studies show” means “companies paid-for” desired results.

And pollsters have now been so far off with their data not even Vegas would touch their odds of being accurate.

Today was perhaps the final nail in the coffin of justice no longer being blind but biased and buyable.  We already knew there were two-tiers to the justice system: one for those with money and prestige and another for the rest of us.  Yet it was bifurcated again when Soros backed DA’s began releasing would be Democrat voters, like BLM rioters, looters and pedophiles en masse along with opening the border to multinational migrants, many of who fit the same description.

The double-standard extends now to the billionaire class where a non-establishment president can be hounded like a wild fox while the billionaires known to frequent Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking island remain unmolested for their crimes.  Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, both heavy Democrat donors, sit atop the great wealth transfer from America’s middle class while Elon Musk, once the savior of the planet, is now pilloried for taking a Trump-like turn to face the behemoth that is elite globalism and point out their corruption.  Robert DeNiro has used his bully-pulpit for foul-mouth tirade after foul-mouth tirade until it caught up to him in New York this week where he was shouted down by the mom of Trump supporters.  In a moment of extreme irony he said to his haters “we’re trying to be decent people and you’re a bunch of gangsters”, somehow forgetting he was busted for involvement in a prostitution ring and made his fortune playing Mafiosi.

The gaslighting has hit almost critical mass.  The party that tells you Richard Levine is now Rachel Levine first female admiral in American military history; that Catholics attending Latin mass and parents expressing displeasure with their school boards are domestic terrorists but Drag Queens are reliable sources for early child literacy; that Ukraine, notorious for human trafficking while rated in the top thirty-five most corrupt countries, is a democracy worth defending with billions of US tax-payer dollars; that Google and Twitter knowingly swayed the election by covering up the Hunter Biden laptop story and colluding with feds to suppress conservative communication but the 2020 election was the “freest and most fair” in US history; and that Joe Biden is a cagey and deft political maneuverer not a senile and daft life-time political grifter – are now telling you they have carried out justice.

Never mind the case was already avoided by better prosecutors who failed to take it on because of how weak it was.  Or that the statute of limitations had already run out.  Or the crimes listed were so vague even legal experts weren’t clear on what Bragg’s legal theory was.  Or that Alvin Bragg ran on a platform to “get Donald Trump”. Or that Bragg has one set of merciful laws for actual criminals and another vindictive set for a former President of the United States.  Or that judge Merchan’s daughter has made millions representing both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, Trump’s political rivals.  Or that Bragg’s team used questionable legal means to elevate misdemeanors to felonies.  Or that Judge Merchan gagged Trump from publically defending himself.  Or that he disallowed cameras in perhaps the most important trial in American history.  Or that Bragg and the media laughed post-verdict about having taken down a president and the Republican front-runner.  No, forget all of that.

They want you to believe this was about no one being above the law as they sip chardonnay in five-star restaurants with cities filling with homeless people and illegal immigrants displacing American children and working families.  They want you to believe they are the true arbiters of justice after causing millions of Americans to get vaccinated against their will while Ivy League presidents who commit serial plagiarism remain in their cushy $800k/year jobs.  They want you to believe they are for a woman’s right to choose while not being able to legally define what a woman is nor extending those rights to women suddenly forced to compete against men in women’s sports.  They want you to believe we have a patriarchy problem while their patriarchs set out to “fundamentally transform America”.

It’s happened.  They have fundamentally transformed America, and now they have transformed its justice system.

“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”

    • Like the dating apps a couple of these dudes on VDC must be on nearly 24/7?

    • Some people rather than suggest the statement, that television is owned and state controlled propaganda, please read The Smear, by Sheryl Atkisson and avoid being around anything that could cause cognitive dissonance.

(cognitive dissonance from a trusted work source, wokipedia) In the field of psychology, cognitive dissonance is described as the mental discomfort people feel when their beliefs and actions are inconsistent and contradictory, ultimately encouraging some change to align better and reduce this dissonance. Relevant items of information include peoples’ actions, feelings, ideas, beliefs, values, and things in the environment.

You disparage, call names, emasculate people………just an fyi, we’re used to being called racist, misogynistic, you name it…you’ll have to make up some more descriptions of personal attack.

Are you on those dating apps? Just asking for a friend.

    • Except Trump didn’t lock up Hillary, despite her obviously worse crimes, because there used to be a tradition of not doing this to Presidents. She literally “mislabelled campaign funds,” just as Trump is alleged, except that she did it to hire a British spy who got ridiculous “intel,” that the FBI used to get a frivolous FISA warrant to illegally spy on the Trump campaign. (And they still came up empty handed.) On top of that, the chairman of the FEC, gagged by Merchan, who refused to let him testify in full, has recently stated that the “underlying crime,” doesn’t exist, i.e., Trump paying his lawyer, who paid off Stormy’s extortion, doesn’t amount to a campaign finance violation, thus making NY state’s case to imagine that state law applies totally absurd. The whole thing is a Stalinesque political show trial.

    • Or doing this to political opponents in general. before anyone jumps on that. Yes, I know that Hillary was never Preznit. Thankfully. 😂

    • The thing is brother, I have eyes. You can spin it any way you want it, but he did it. The guy who only employs “the best people” lost in a court of his peers. Here he is trying to say that he’s never said, “lock her up” https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/03/politics/video/trump-lock-her-up-clinton-fox-news-never-said-digvid

      But you’ll believe it…

Let me ask you, Jay, and all the other apologists the same thing. If what Hilary (or Bill, or Joe, or Hunter which never made sense lol) did the same thing or worse, why haven’t they been held accountable? Either its not true, or the Republicans couldn’t get it done. Which is it, because you don’t get it both ways. Even though you’ll try.

We are at a crossroads where we could lance MAGA like a boil, nominate Nikki Haley and win the election by ten points. Or, stick with the guy who has lost the popular vote the last three times and just got 34 felony convictions. But I’m in a cult. Choice is yours fellas, but this isn’t really about winning.

    • Chris, they weren’t held accountable for lies about weapons of mass destruction, for screwing interns, paying off sexual abuse accusers or suiciding people; illegally hosting classified info, ostensibly to peddle for money or influence, destroying the subpoenaed evidence concerning it, or for running guns through Mexico, drone striking US citizens or any number of obvious crimes because there was a tradition of not doing this to former Presidents in particular. Until now, and the Rubicon has been crossed. But you guys sure got Orange Man Bad on a good one. Terrible crime. LOL. Though, as I said, not actually even a crime according to the man who would know, and who was silenced by the judge.

    • Good for you seeing you’re in a cult Chris. Admitting you have a problem is the first step toward recovery.

    • Where u b at, teach??? I’m awaitin’. U are truly bad at all of this. But u know that.

    • Yes Chris, he did it. Are you happy now? But what he did was a misdemeanor and it was past the statute of limitations. So the Dem judge created a menu of possible crime categories to say he did it to cover some unmentioned, unproven crime in any one of those categories. Does that sound legitimate to you? It seems very sketchy to me.

You ask why the Clinton/Biden/Obama crimes have not been prosecuted as if you don’t know already. But assuming you don’t, let me explain. Those people are the ones in power. They are a cabal. They represent a long line of political operatives who have been destroying this country since the late 1980’s.

Trump – unpleasant as he is – represents the end of their reign. You can’t see it because you are either paid not to or you work in a protected industry. Trump will take them down and if he fails another will come along who will succeed. Because the time for them to go has come.

When this process is over – and it will end in the complete destruction of everything you think is certain – you will say you knew that all along. Because mark Twain was right. It is easier to convince people they were never fooled than it is to fool them in the first place.

    • Whoever-you-are, despite the fact that you never comment accurately, I’ll consider one of your questions?

We’ll see if any of the Democrats you mentioned will be held to account for their alleged crimes soon enough. For one, the Hunter Biden (HB) federal firearms felony case just finished jury selection. Would I care to make a prediction? Not a chance. We’re in a state of judicial anarchy. Anything goes.

Judge Norieke, you might recall, kiboshed a ‘not standard’ plea deal offered to HB by the prosecutor a year ago. Her ruling ensured that a second nine-count indictment on federal tax related charges, three being felony counts, will be tried later in Los Angeles.

But I suspect the fix is in with this round of the HB theater too. Prosecutor David Weiss was hand-picked by AG Merrick Garland. Weiss is one of the few Trump appointed U.S. attorneys who stayed in place when President Joe Biden took office. Keep in mind that it was Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons, both Democrats, who played a major role in selecting Weiss, because of a longstanding Senate policy that allows home-state senators to sign off on presidential appointments of U.S. attorneys.

So, the corrupt judicial system could throw HB under the bus in an attempt to show that ‘justice is blind’ after all…. slap HB on the wrist with a benign sentence, and then have his Dad commute the sentence before he leaves office.

But I’m speculating… not apologizing. Try to get something right the next time you comment.

    • Please by all means convict him again so he can raise another 70 million dollars in a week.

“In the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty”. – Bob Marley

    • The HB trial on gun charges, as well as the tax evasion “investigation”, serve as very limited hangouts, distractions from selling US secrets and influence. What four people had keys to the Biden Penn Center office?

The Marco Polo project provides a deep dive into the laptop and all the treason, human trafficking, sex trafficking, bribes, and influence peddling. It’s over 600 pages, broken down by categories of crimes. Read that, Chris, and get a glimpse of what really happens among those in this cabal.

    • Getting something right? Jay, tell me again when Hunter Biden ran for President? It’s a false equivalence and you should just shut up about it because it makes you sound like a moron. I constantly accuse you of moving the goalposts because when and on what planet does 1st son= President? Where?

    • Re: ‘Getting something right?’

      Apparently, not yet.

Whoever-you-are: Good Lord, now you can’t read your own comments. You’re the one who cited Hunter Biden in the question you put to me.

“Let me ask you, Jay, and all the other apologists the same thing. If what Hilary (or Bill, or Joe, or Hunter which never made sense lol) did the same thing or worse, why haven’t they been held accountable?”

And I never said HB was president either.

It’s little wonder you see the world the way you do, whoever-you-are. You make stuff up as you go… and then conveniently slither away in your anonymity.

“Yes, and how many times can a man turn his head and pretend that he just doesn’t see? The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind.”

  2. I’m voting 4 Making America Great Again. You can vote MACS if you so choose tho. That’s: (Making America a Communist S***hole).

Essentially a book-keeping misrepresentation at worst. Yeah, that’s about as serious as Biden selling out the entire USA to Communist China for millions or Hillary Clinton being responsible for the murder of Americans in Benghazi & her “aides” (on their own accord, of course) taking a sledgehammer to destroy the evidence on her hard drives or the IRS democrat-appointed heads targeting conservative/GOP filers under Barack Obama or…………………………………….

Yeah. terrifying “crime”. I’m finding it personally terrifying to walk the streets of Barre alone now. All because of Donald Trump’s dangerous & deadly falsification of business records.

  3. Lock him up! Lock him Up! Alvin “chipmunk” Bragg. Lock Him Up!

  4. it has been a long road from mena, the c. i. a. , the clintons, the bushes, the drugs/// nothing to see here folks/// just move on////

  5. Let it go! There is nothing Vermont can do to affect the presidential election. Put your ego and emotional nonsense aside.

    Focus on the local elections.

The slate of local Republican candidates is weak at best.

Starting with Malloy, who made his millions, more repulsively than Bernie, as in insider of the Military Industrial Complex.

    Thayer… please, really?

Trump isn’t a strategy or plan.

    • So now Gerald Malloy, a West Point graduate, who served 22 years on active duty in the Army, is more ‘repulsive’ than Marxist Bernie Sanders – who barely worked at all after leaving Brooklyn, having made millions as a politician? Are all of our soldiers, you know, the people sworn to protect us, ‘repulsive’? Whatever happened to ‘thank you for your service’?

    • Why aren’t you lifting up those Republicans you support? Why are you always trying to denigrate people you say can’t win? If they can’t win, you don’t need to do anything do you?

Why aren’t you supporting Get Real? Be a cheer leader for your own teammates, be a cheerleader for how excellent you believe the VTGOP is running things.

There is no strategy or plan to change things in the VTGOP, because it’s a deep state love fest, they like everything in Vermont, it’s perfect for them. Some of use politely disagree.

We reap what we sow. Same goes for the VTGOP

    • If not mistaken, Mr. Arnold was the major supporter of the republican non-republican in the last election that Balint won. Remember the ex-military guy who’s claim to fame was studying the sex lives of plants. And here he is disparaging a West point graduate with 22 years of military service as a weak candidate.

  6. Post-verdict: $200 Million in the People’s verdict bucket. 30% from first time, small figure, donors. Senator Manchin just tipped the US Senate over. The Congressional purse strings are getting synched up. Fauci lied then cried. Fani “Cash G” Willis in deep trouble as is her case. Pride March and Palestinian March collide in Philadelphia – much confusion ensues. It’s only Tuesday, the liberals and RINOS are losing their minds….God is great!

  7. School’s out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more pencils, no more books, no more teacher’s dirty looks!

    • I do remember Trump initiating the chant, “Lock Her Up” at the GOP convention in 2016. The crowd loved it and joined in. Let’s not forget that facts are important.

The jury evaluated the facts and made their decision.

To those asserting that Biden orchestrated it, I suggest they prove it with facts, not innuendo.

    • Pete,
None are so bling as those who refuse to see. After he won election did, he sick his lawfare dogs after Hillary? Of course, we all know that Bill and Hillary never broke any laws, right?

    • Just ask the Haitians what they think of the Clintons….

The Clinton Global Initiative…have people forgotten about that?

What about 2 huge planes of CASH being sent to the middle east?

Nothing to see here, nothing to see.

What about Vermont’s EB-5? Banks swept that under the rug with a big wad of cash, nobody in Vermont that ran the organization did ANYTHING wrong….nope.

Oh, and the Vaccine’s are safe and effective too.

Yup, come still drink the vial propaganda juice. Please put your mask on between sips.

    • Pete: I’ll repeat what I pointed out earlier in response to Peter Welch’s similar claim.

Senator Welch presented a rather glaring instance of what I characterize as TDS misinformation in his remark that:

“All of the evidence was presented by both sides and ultimately the jurors decided “.

When, in fact, only the ‘admissible’ evidence was presented to the jurors. The Judge deemed a significant amount of defense evidence as ‘inadmissible’. His call. Judge Merchan, for example, sustained only three objections from the defense, while overruling only two objections from the prosecution. This in response to the dozens of objections made each day.

In fact, Judge Merchan ‘so restricted’ defense testimony by former Federal Election Commissioner, Bradley Smith, an ‘election law expert’, that the defense decided not to call him. At one point, despite a multitude of objections, Judge Merchan even had the press removed from the proceedings.

But hey, it was Judge Merchan’s court proceeding to manage. And, apparently, it was Senator Welch’s right to misinform the public.

    • To Pete, check out Merrick Garland falling for the hook, line and sinker question asked by Rep. Matt Gaetz- he blurted out the quiet part like a stammering fool – A true Perry Mason moment. If Garland only had a brain instead of law degree from a gum ball machine.

  8. Jay, might be that the DA’s know how prosecute a case so that they prevail on law. Might also be that Trump’s lawyers were not that skilled and made frivolous objections. That is there is an appellate system. Trump’s attorneys a working of their filings now.

    • Re: “Jay, might be that the DA’s know how [to] prosecute a case so that they prevail on law.”

That may be. But it might not be too. It might be that the judge acted as he did because of bias and should have recused himself because of various conflicts of interest.

Again, my point, and the point you curiously ignore, is that the jury only saw ‘admissible’ evidence, not ‘all’ evidence.

Cases against defendants are dismissed on ‘technicalities’ all the time. One of the most common legal ‘technicalities’ leading to dismissal is the ‘suppression of evidence’, by a judge, by a prosecutor, or by a defendant. Which is why, as you correctly point out, we have an appeal process.

Again, ‘it isn’t over until it’s over’.

    • Here are current examples of the suppression of evidence.

“Congressman Barry Loudermilk obtained a transcript of the presidential motorcade driver’s interview that refutes the January 6 ‘star witness’ Cassidy Hutchinson’s claim that Trump tried to grab the steering wheel and commandeer the limo on January 6.

According to the secret service driver, he wanted to quickly debunk Cassidy Hutchinson’s lies about Trump’s behavior in the ‘beast’ on January 6, but Liz Cheney and others on the … J6 committee “rebuffed” him and allowed Hutchinson’s lies to dominate the headlines.”

      Here’s another.

October 23, 2020, 4:28 am. During the 2020 presidential debate, Joe Biden, while citing 50 current and former intelligence officers (including the heads of the CIA and NSA), claimed that the Hunter Biden Laptop story published by the NY Post was Russian disinformation.

So, just yesterday, FBI agent Erika Jensen, testified in court to the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop as it was entered as ‘admissible’ evidence in Hunter Biden’s criminal trial. Curiously, the laptop has been in FBI custody since 2019.

Again, ‘it isn’t over until it’s over’.

  9. Will the RINO’s in the House file subpoenas and fight back? Will they Defund the Government, Shut-down the Marxist/Globalist takeover as they hold the purse strings? Nah, instead they continue to sell America down the river . . . isn’t that Treason? Hmmmm.
