  1. eclipse day/// schools take a day off for public safety/// after you take the day off stay home/// your service is no longer needed///

  2. beta aircraft/// this will end up in the scrap along with the electric cars/// is this another grant sucking operation///

    • About 2 weeks ago on Flightradar24 I viewed a Beta e/plane that left Burlington International Airport. Its flight path followed I-89 all the way to Mountpeculiar and turned around and followed the same flight path back to Burlington. I assume the manufacturers are not very confident in their products yet.

    • I wonder why the supermajority and Scott don’t relax the Act 250 regulations to bring in real business to Vermont? As the 4th unfriendly business state in the country we are seeing our taxes placed on property owners! Our school taxes are out of control! Our best and brightest high school graduates leave the state for good paying jobs! No businesses, no tax base, no good paying jobs, on young adults, no families, no children, declining enrollment! We have one of the top cost per pupils in the nation.

Where is the common sense approach? Vermont state leaders you can not continue to get blood out of the proverbial stone.

  3. sleepout in burlington/// you must sleep out for a week to show you really
    care///

  4. So is the eclipse going to be the apocolypse? National guard staging and State of Emergencies being declared around the US? Schools closing, businesses closing, traffic being re-routed? Some say a flock of black swans about to land, some say large crowds should be avoided, sleeper cells activated during the distraction, a bioweapon being unleashed, the second coming or alien ships courtesy of CGI? Something is running afoul over this “event.” Fortify the homesteads and head on a swivel regardless of the day or time.

    • Could also add the possibility the VT “authorities” will unlock prison doors releasing all inmates under the cover of darkness….. and hide identities by giving the “escapees” illegal alien status. After all, judges are loath to lock up or convict criminals. Just sayin.

  5. The VTNEA teachers’ union will use any excuse, manmade or natural to get their members a paid day off. To all the working parents who are inconvenienced by this shutdown, I hope you will remember to keep voting for your beloved democrats who are OWNED by the VTNEA.
