  1. Det is run by morons, all they needed was to install 2 vertical I beams and one horizontal across the road at a height not tall enough for big rigs to pass under.

    • Todd, your comment is one of many made on various posts about trucks on the Notch road that shows abject ignorance about the issue. It is the length of the vehicle, not the height that prevents the vehicle from going around the boulders.

  2. Yes, technology is great, just follow your GPS, and don’t read or follow the signs, that say ” NO” trucks….. just keep trucking !!

The state needs to increase the fines for these clowns, and jail time, and then confiscate the truck & cargo ……………..maybe they’ll learn what those big signs mean.

  3. concrete barriers could have been set up in a pattern that would stop a tractor trailer and would allow other traffic to flow//// about a two day job///

  4. If you’ve never been a trucker, you should stifle it with your brilliant remedies.
Just place something at the start of this garbage notch and be quiet.
Yeah, the town’s tow service makes a killing every time he pulls one of these guys out.
Look for the money trail and quit hating on the people who bring you your damned groceries and stuff.
We have bigger fish to fry than truckers hitting your precious garbage route.

  5. rgb ////i have driven tractor trailer and the concrete barriers will work/// thanks to all the truckers that haul our needed goods/// you are right about the money trail/// why kill a cash cow///
