  1. “Kids come first; they are the most vulnerable. They are caught in the middle of this situation,” said Scott.

Unless, of course, they are still in their mother’s womb.

It didn’t seem to matter one bit to Scott when he signed Act 57 into law on June 19, 2019, eliminating all protection of the law for preborn children.

Darn right they’re caught in the middle of this situation. It’s because they ARE the most vulnerable. Happens every time adults put their own desires before children.

The irony and hypocrisy is staggering.

    • That said, I’m glad Phil Scott is thinking about the children. I need to remember that there are families who are experiencing real difficulties. And their children, because they are the most vulnerable, always suffer because of factors and circumstances completely beyond their control.

I have to be careful that I don’t make every issue in life about abortion. I’m just sensitive when I hear politicians or other well-meaning folks talk about protecting children and the most vulnerable, yet deny the humanity of an entire population of them.
