  1. The fact that these un-elected boards are making public policy that affects the spending of public money is why public-sector unions should not exist. The SCOTUS has ruled that President Biden could not forgive student loans and that Trump’s executive actions to fund ICE are illegal. The over-burdened Vermont taxpayer should not have decisions about paying public employees made by un-elected boards. To use the democrats’ terminology, it’s just anti-democracy.

  2. Regarding the Gov’s “Return to work order”, if there was one thing that was made plain during the COVID epidemic it was that at some point people would have to return to the office. What changed ? Employee’s expectations ? Union promises ? If work from home continues, it should free up space in SOV office buildings. Will that make space consolidations, and savings possible ?

  3. This proves our elected officials do not run Vermont, yet again!

    Vermont is run by unions, NGO’s, lobbyists and non-profits.

    Our elected officials have very little to do with the current direction of our state.
