Despite criticisms by some of his being too RINO, his hatred of Trump and even with the veto-proof supermajority, Phil Scott is the only person standing between what’s left of Vermont and total demoprog fascist tyranny. Thanks Phil! Hang in there. I’m sure you have better things to do with your time.

    • I call BS Rich. If he were that successful here why do his vetos not matter. Better to just let the communists bankrupt this state and we start fresh. Sometimes the end is better when it’s quicker than by a thousand cuts and they take all your money in the process.

  2. So VT will now create it’s own experimental “health equity plan”. We don’t have a healthcare problem, we have a third party payer problem!! How much more govt intervention will you put up with??? Age old question which do you value more freedom or safety you, will you sacrifice one for the other.

  3. The following stories regarding all this free money is cause to pause. Where is all this money coming from? As we, the People, are struggling as they tax and fee us into poverty. It appears certain commissions and the grubberment are flush with cash? In light of the SCOTUS decision regarding the “Chevron defense,” it is high time to remove all our “money” from the super grifters and back into our pockets. Our money, our say where and who it goes to from now on. The illegitimate “rulers” setting the rules and regulations, with our money, no longer have a say or a job. Let it be so!

    “The Northern Border Regional Commission is doling out $27 million in awards as part of its Catalyst Program spring competition.”

    “Federal officials have selected Vermont as one of three states to participate in the AHEAD program, a new health care reform initiative, the state announced Tuesday. The federal government also selected Connecticut and Maryland to join the model. Participating states are eligible for up to $12 million in federal funding to implement the program. ”

    “The Northern Border Regional Commission has announced that $3.6 million will be awarded to three projects as part of the “Timber for Transit” program and one of those projects is at the Burlington Airport. The airport will receive more than $1.5 million for “Project NexT,” which sets out to replace a new concourse, four new aircraft gates, four new passenger boarding bridges, create new passenger circulation and hold room space.”

    “Governor Phil Scott and the Department of Economic Development (DED) announced today the Brownfields Revitalization Fund – State Program is investing $1,970,970 to clean six properties in Newport, St. Johnsbury, West Rutland and Windsor. The Brownfields Revitalization Fund – Federal Program is investing an additional $798,777 to contribute to the cleanup of properties in Colchester and Burlington.”
