  1. War against water, the very foundation of our universe?
Its like we’ve lots all common sense… ALL COMMON SENSE.
    Water seeks the lowest elevation.
It carries debris with it when it goes.
We have stopped putting ditches in our roads that would otherwise slow down, spread out and divert water from …rushing like a spout down the drain… errrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmm…

Severe disconnect — its like AI is trying to rewrite the…. UNIVERSE… get rid of all the building blocks of life… by demonizing both water…and carbon…

We’ve lost the plot and we deserve what we get.
And Vermont USED to know what to do with water, AND its function in our lives…oy vey.

  2. Weather warfare is being conducted all over this country. Eight or ten inch rain events are not normal.

  3. Mankind has not retained any rationality. Rationality! The state recommends removing our precious headwater dams installed 100 years ago (at great expense) to prevent flash flooding in the valleys. They made inhabitation possible in many areas. Those dams collected much sediment. That sediment could have been used to fertilize our agricultural lands if they had been dredged and spread on cropland. But the state says, “Remove the dams; we don’t like the ecology that has grown there; we want a different ecosystem than that.” BTW, Brook trout prefer beaver dams and muddy bottom ponds, in my experience. Not fast-flowing rocky bottom streams that get washed out every few years. Beavers are better fish herders than the communists we have in control now. Also, the state removed our agricultural lands and is replacing them with political solar panels. Ok. so they removed 113 (not 30) headwater dams. They do not pay attention to the valuable pay dirt contained in them. We now have flash flooding in the communities where they were removed, and too much high-energy sediment is entering Champlain and Connecticut. Go Figure. The education system has failed. This is not California.
