    The thing I never understand about this latest push to invoke the 14th Amendment against President Trump is: How can accusers use the word “insurrection” when there is zero evidence to prove that and charge him with it?

    But this is exactly how false and evil narratives proliferate: keep using terms such as “insurrection” and “systemic racism,” to name just a few, and many people simply and blindly sign on to, believe, and repeat these phrases and ideas without ever checking the background and facts themselves.

    And then later on, when the false narratives are proven to be exactly that, people either say “oops,” or the damage has been done, and they refuse to believe the truth despite all evidence to the contrary.

  4. I agree Mr. Green. If Congress wants to claim their illegal, unbalanced and fairy tale J6 Committee Inquiry as a fiat accompli, then why is former President, Donald Trump not incarcerated? Because the “committee” had no legal standing. So, like Capone, they went after him with what they thought they could catch him with. Doesn’t prevent him from taking office…. so, they are going to have him removed from the ballot.
    But what this article fails to realize is the last line of section 3:
    No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

    Now, I am going to say something inflammatory. If DT was truly a patriot, he would put aside his ego and desire (well deserved desire of course) to correct a wrong and not run. Regardless of whether he wins or doesn’t win, a significant section of society is going to lose their collective fecal matter and that may be the tipping point. That may be the catalyst to the conflagration of our society. To our civilization. Just my humble opine.
