  1. FREE FOOD The food is not free, as it takes time, labor, money, and a lot of work to grow your own garden and that is not free. The garden I planted this summer produced enough extra food to give to my family, friends, and the rest was placed on the side of the road and given away. Trust me, the food is not free.
