  2. Re: Local school leaders see ‘immense challenges’ in proposed state funding changes

“The task of weaning various people and groups from the national nipple will not be easy. The sound of whines, bawls, screams and invective will fill the air as the agony of withdrawal pangs finds voice.”

Linda Bowles, “The Weaning Process, ” Washington Times, December 20, 1994, p. A16.

    • From your lips to my ears — Oh what a wonderful sound should that longed for day ever come to pass.

  3. On motel housing and the state’s largess. There seem to be many who think “land of the free” means freedom from paying their own way. Could that be why so many invaders are crossing the southern border illegally? Whatever, they’re showing their true colors. If they can’t come legally they shouldn’t be allowed in.
Many Americans are struggling but socialism isn’t the answer. It’s obvious with the panic over school funding and the motel and clean heat fiascoes, that the state nipple is drying up and the supermajority is wondering why. Perhaps they should look in the mirror.

  4. Hopefully the left’s misscalculations regarding how much rape and pillaging the pesants will condone before they strike back has come to a head. To quote Ernist Hemingway maybe our disingenuous, self important legislators should be asking “Ask not for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”
