  1. suspend law license/// if you stay at the bar long enough, government looks good at closing time///

  2. airport terminal building/// the pork master leahy will be seen forever///

  3. Anyone who consumes alcohol, a legal, widely promoted and easily available product can be the victim of a “bad ice cube” and get a DUI. However, the distinctions in this case are manifold:
-she is the State’s Attorney…the highest ranking law enforcement officer in her county and should know better and be setting the example, as she is tasked with prosecuting others for the same offense.
-she failed to cooperate in the booking procedure.
-she obviously lied when she used the old excuse that “I only had one glass of wine”, and she knows that giving false information to a police officer is a crime.
-she openly disparaged law enforcement officers who acted lawfully in their sworn duties, and publicly stated that she experiences a discomfort dealing with them. Working cooperatively with LEOs is a prerequisite for her position as prosecutor, and this overt bias makes her incapable of effectively performing her duties.
-she pulled the tired, predictable, “I’m a victim of a substance abuse disorder” defense and then has her attorney claim that the details are no one’s business.

She should not only be forced from office, but lose her license to practice law.
Using every form of “democrat immunity” shows that she has attempted to abuse her position and seek solace from a politically-biased ideological scenario…simply pathetic.

    • In short, she behaved like a self entitled politician. It appears the democrat wagons have circled to protect this state’s atty, she should be able to ward off any punishment or repercussions by wrapping her self tightly with the “victim” excuse.

    • The one thing I haven’t heard anyone mention in this “controversy” is that someone could be dead as a result of this. DUI isn’t illegal just because; innocent people die every day from people breaking this law. It’s just luck that she didn’t kill someone. Putting everyone on the road that night’s, life in danger is enough to get her gone. Let’s get people with morals back in charge. Ask a father of a child killed by a drunk driver what they think should happen. I’d be willing to bet it’ll be different than what all these, “I believe in second chances” people are spewing. And much more meaningful.

  4. mistrial assault case/// the sheriff department needs to get their act together/// we are feed up with law enforcement not getting the job done/// they need to read the vermont constitution and enforce it///

  5. progressives mayor race burlington/// another dog and pony show/// what could possibly go wrong///

  6. Yes, these are the kind of people we have in charge, laws are not for them, but for thee ……………………… pretty pathetic !!

The BS she gave to the officer, if you did that she would have locked you up as a prosecutor.
