  1. Purple paint does not provide the owner’s name and contact information so there is no way to contact the owner to ask permission. Also, purple paint will make it harder to unpost the land if the owner sells the property or changes their mind about posting. Leave things the way they are now.

    • Regarding the name of the property owner, most hunters know exactly who owns the property. If they don’t know they have no business being there-IMO. I’m not going to elaborate, but I have spent a lot of time managing my property for the hunters that DO respectfully ask permission to hunt on my property. When I became sole owner of my family farm I learned that a large group of “out of Town” hunters were on my property and were defiant about it! It took me a long time to manage the situation, and many of my neighbors have thanked me because said hunters had been been unlawfully hunting deer for a long time, including “pushing deer” from one area to another with “stake outs” along the way. I could go on and on, but will spare you.
I thank the hunters that ask permission and respect my property, including the youth hunters. One of my primary concerns is safety for all of them out there. DUH! My father and grandfather were both hunters.
I would be happy to testify on behalf of property owners if I could be helpful with this situation.

  2. Looks like GOVIE is try to rig the mayor election in Rutland and he has all the support of the people on the government payroll.

    • Yeah guy, the popular local businessman who has dedicated his life to the city and is going to win with about 65% of the vote needs the governor to rig the election. What a stupid thing to say. Get your tin out of Rutland, we have enough here.

  3. REACTIONARY DISTURBER works every time. YEAH GUY. Now why would i want to go to Rutland when i have enough crooks up here.
