  1. See they have an agenda they want come hell or high water.

Is this in anybodies radar? Is this what Vermonters have been clamoring for?

    Nope.

But they will raise your taxes, even if Gov Scott gets his “school reform” bill. It’s all smoke and mirrors, they work for the unions, the NGOs, then non profits all of which are aligned with a different agenda, which they clearly states and are implementing, Agenda 2030 from the United Nations which has declared in countries across the world.

    Build back Better.
“You will own nothing and be happy”

This their words and they mean it.
There are 10 people setting the agenda in Montpelier.
It ain’t you and it ain’t me.
Welcome to the new world order.

    • Does the mayor really think that anyone who would use a gun to shoot someone at a bar would also respect a law forbidding one from carrying a gun into a bar?

Once again, the infiltration of the inane Marxist worldview which abnegates common sense and human liberty and responsibility.

  2. Stay out of BURLINGTON VERMONT and do your business at other locations.

  3. Cmon man if they really want to stop shootings in bars all they have to do is put a sign on the door if a gun in a red circle with a red slash thru it saying NO GUNS ALLOWED ON PREMISIS, after all look how good it works in schools.

  4. Another Church Street store has announced they are closing their doors citing that: “retail has shifted and downtown realities have changed, leading to the decision to close.” Maybe it has to do with the notion that not many rational people want to bring their 12-year old kid shopping for shoes there and expose them to the junkies, aggressive panhandlers, foul language and open drug dealing and use being tolerated by the City’s administration. Mayor Emma-Hyphen and her comrades on the City Council think that guns in bars are the problem? Leftists’ utopian thinking is not based in reality. Besides being in violation of the Vermont Constitution, have they even considered that their proposed ban would be impossible to enforce without TSA-level scrutiny at each doorway? …Or will they rely on their tried and true honor system? If law-abiding citizens who routinely carry firearms comply with such a directive, that will mean that there are more guns which will be left behind in vehicles in a city that has a chronic problem with car break-ins, which will effectively put more guns into the hands of those who shouldn’t have them…more forward thinking by leftist morons. STOP PATRONIZING BURLINGTON until they get the message.
