  1. How about a bill to mandate UFO and Bigfoot education. Let’s not forget Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny And liberals with high IQ’s. They may all be real but it hasn’t been proven.

  2. I’m all for it with one condition–we cannot teach climate change until Reading, Writing, Math, and Science proficiency scores statewide are all above 90%.

  3. How but just going back to teaching the kids how to read, write and do math with no computer?

  4. The last two weeks have been fun with all this global warming. How about doing some study on weather warfare?????

  5. The link to the WCAX news about requiring VT schools to teach climate change didn’t work. The bill is S175 An act relating to climate change education. It’s sponsored by Senator Anne Watson. You can read the bill by going to https://legislature.vermont.gov/Documents/2026/Docs/BILLS/S-0175/S-0175%20As%20Introduced.pdf
According to Sen. Watson’s VT legislature bio, she is a math and science teacher. She is the senator for the Washington District. See map of towns in that district https://legislature.vermont.gov/Documents/SmallMaps/2022/Senate/Washington.pdf

  6. Right up there with teaching Spanish to 1st graders (yes, already happening in Vermont)
