  1. If you consider a Canadian Lynx a big cat, that’s probably why it’s easy for Fish & Wildlife to claim that the rare sightings of actual big cats like Cougars, supposedly all transient individuals) are cases of mistaken identity.

Lynx are beautiful as are their cousins, the Bobcat. They are elusive as are all wildcats. But “big”? Nah. Intimidating? No. Keep a very respectful distance & know behaviors to thwart a very rare defensive attack? Yeah.

We live in the woods. Al over the U.S.A. Including even N.J.! Pine Barrens: densely wild & wooded. Pacific Northwest: Vaster wilderness than VT could ever dream of.

  2. So, Vermont taxpayers provide free meals at school for all students, so that none will have to suffer the embarrassment of having to provide documentation of need. Heck, some schools even have summer food programs because we now assume that no one is able or willing to feed their own children. Some students in Stoughton Massachusetts will not have bus transportation to school this year due to budget shortfalls because of accommodating migrants. Now, because people dont want to work for a living anymore in our post-COVID socialist utopia, some Vermont students will have to find their own way to get to school. Vice Presidential candidate Vance really is correct when he said this election is a battle between socialism and capitalism, and it becomes more obvious every day that Vermont and it’s progressive neighbors are on the losing side. Those of us who see the benefits of capitalism and a merit-based society can only hope that Vermont parents who will have to get up an hour early to drive their kids to school will consider the real consequences of their votes on November 5th election day.

    • “this election is a battle between socialism and capitalism” – This election, along with other elections are a battle of “Destruction of wealth to create the programs I WANT”, vs “Destruction of wealth to create the programs THEY WANT”. And you will get “Destruction of wealth towards programs THE CORPORATIONS WANT”. That’s just the truth of the matter. Sure you might get some meaningless surface differences but still at great cost.

The only fix is to stop asking government to fix the problems and start asking government to stop causing the problems. But everyone wants their programs, plans, and ramping up on “fixes”.

  3. I wonder how many bus companies require their drivers to be vaccinated…could that be the smoking gun?
