Regarding the EV fund lawsuit. Whenever I see VPIRG, and/or VNRC I bristle up like a porcupine. I don’t know why, but these days I rarely read anything they support, that I do not have an instant reaction to question. It was not always that way, but over the years both groups have lost any of their air of trustworthiness with me. I suspect that it is because it seems to me that they push agendas that while they may pass as sound “environmental stewardship” sniff test in other states, it somehow does not ring true as such here. Also $631,000 for one “fast charging” station in Bradford ? When cars that ran on gasoline became “the thing” did the government think that taxpayers should foot the bill for gas stations ? Why should taxpayers fund the electrification of the transportation industry ? It would seem to me that there should be better ways to incentivize private industry to build these stations. The electric companies, and their stockholders are the final beneficiaries of this changeover, why are they not leading the charge ? (no pun intended)
Here, Here, The Great Green Scam ! It is also very interesting that EV sales demand is down now that there are no longer strong Federal subsidies for their purchase and implementation of highway taxes to replace the lost fuel tax revenue
