  1. “Treatment court” for the three-time ostensibly armed robber? How is “treatment court” even a thing? When you assault store employees and steal from a business, the “treatment” should be a lengthy prison sentence.

    I have a hard time believing that “treatment court” is an effective deterrent. I would think, on the contrary, that it is more likely an incentive to continue to commit crimes, especially when there are only the most impotent of consequences for endangering people’s lives and stealing their property.
