  1. I wonder if banning plastic bags has anything to do with the 91% decrease in their usage. I’m glad that money was spent wisely on this study. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

  2. Why is Bernardo being praised for breaking the law? Of course, it’s a shame to be separated from her children, but why blame the law and legal immigration requirements for her irresponsibility? But this is what the Left does: it lauds those who disrespect the law while vilifying those who seek to enforce it. Countless millions of immigrants have been welcomed to our country for the last two hundred years when they did the necessary work to become naturalized US citizens. Anything of value is worth working for. Why try to circumvent that process?

  3. BTW, it would also have been helpful for the writer of the article to explain why there is even talk of her being deported, as well as what her immigrant status is. It’s like half the story is missing. I just assumed there was a problem because she’s here illegally, but how are we supposed to know this?

  4. If the legislature had a backbone they would ban Disposible Diapers, hundreds of times worst than plastic bags! They take forever to disintegrate and really ruin the enviroment! immagine the uproar this would cause. Oh the disposable coffee cups are bad too!

  5. I have heard that some people do not shop in Vermont any longer. Any truth to that?
