Sean Tatro, Larry & Sons Heating Service owner, talks about impact of the steady stream of regulations on his customers

Sean Tatro is the third generation owner of Larry & Sons Heating Service, a Milton-based heating sales and service business since 1981.

In this interview by VDC Social Media Director Paul Bean, Tatro describes the harmful impact of what he says is the state’s over-regulation of his industry.

“I think what these legislators think is they’re helping the poor, but they’re not, they’re just making it worse,” Tatro said.

  1. Please explain, because I can not understand, how raising the costs of the basic, core energy source in our State, with no measurable benefit to anyone, can benefit our neighbors, rich and poor. This Legislature’s veto must be upheld.

  2. They’re not helping the poor, and of course they know it. As I’ve said before, read the opposite to understand the truth:

    Affordable Heat Act = UNaffordable Heat Act

    No, this is about control. Remember that line from Judge Smails in Caddyshack? “You’ll get nothing and like it!”? Little did we know it was predictive programming.

  3. I have my oil furnace serviced annually. Four years ago it cost $150. Since Biden came into office it has been $300 to $350 annually. I’m not sure what part of that cost connects to VT regulations or Federal, but the constant increases are way too much to survive on a fixed income.

    We know the goal is to decrease the population and they’re sure working hard to accomplish that.

  5. I agree with previous comments: it’s all about control. The government will not stop until they control everything. This is called Fascism. “All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.” -Mussolini, an early 20th-century Fascist dictator. “Benito Mussolini, the fascist dictator of Italy, and Adolf Hitler, the Nazi leader of Germany, had several meetings throughout their careers. These encounters were significant events that marked the strengthening of their alliance and the rise of fascist and Nazi powers in Europe.”

    With this knowledge, it is more understandable that the communists in Russia invaded Ukraine soon after the Biden Regime was installed. Hunter Biden’s involvement in Ukrainian energy companies was no coincidence. The Trump administration was tipped off about the corrupt dealings and tried to withhold foreign aid to Ukraine. Corrupt members of Congress (and the media) raised false complaints and forced the aid to go through using threats of congressional action. It was the Biden fascists (Democrats/Progressives/Rhino’s) all along who were meddling in Ukrainian affairs, vying for control of those resources: they rarely take assets except by lies and trickery. Including the presidency of the USA. This said, I still support Ukrainian Independence. Putin’s tactics are stone age and barbaric. But people like the Biden regime need to be brought to justice and put in jail.

    The carbon dioxide issue surrounding fossil fuels is purely made-up propaganda. A carbon-based synthetic fuel, combined with natural fossil fuels, is mankind’s best hope for the future. It will keep the Earth Green and alive. Photosynthesis requires carbon dioxide, and all life that has ever been discovered is carbon-based. There is absolutely no correlation between carbon dioxide at these levels (0.04% or greater) and climate change. By trying to tax and eliminate carbon, these fascists must only be listening to the Devil: they want to kill ALL life on Earth. Or more to the point, control it.

    And we have so many dupes. They have been brainwashed by fear, repetition, and false information. For some, it’s like rooting for a sports team, and no matter how much evidence to the contrary you provide them, they will continue to root for the team they picked last election cycle.

    I hope we can be rational human beings, and move past this era.
