New Hampshire woman drove into back of AOT snowplow

A Claremont, NH woman died when her car rear-ended a State of Vermont snowplow early Monday morning on I-91.

At 2 AM on Feb. 3, state Police troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) plow truck with serious injuries on Interstate 91 Southbound in Westminster. Troopers say Kimberly Barsalou (53) was operating her Dodge Journey and drove into the back of an AOT plow truck that was out salting the roadway. Barsalou was later pronounced deceased on scene.

Fatal crash in Corinth – A 68-year-old Corinth man was found dead after a single-vehicle crash on Goose Green Road near the Corinth Town Garage on Jan. 31, the Journal-Opinion reports. 

Wade Van Gorden Sr. was operating a 2019 Ford Ranger eastbound when it “gradually left the roadway,” stated Vermont State Police. The vehicle struck a tree and Van Gorden was pronounced dead on the scene.

VSP ruled out speed and impairment as factors in the crash, but said it remains under investigation.

South Burlington offramp fatal – On January 31 at about 6 AM, Troopers with VSP Williston were notified of a single vehicle crash of an F-150 on the I-89 Southbound, Exit 13 offramp in South Burlington. They learned from responding South Burlington Fire Department medical personnel that operator Edward T. Bolin (age 51) of Winooski had been pronounced deceased.
