Regarding the conversation about the EV charging stations and the suckers who got caught with dying batteries. There was also a several mile traffic jam through Franconia Notch that lasted several hours. When the earthquake hit NY recently, people were stuck in a several mile traffic jam of panicked residents trying to flee the tri-State area. Recalling the ice storm of 1998, regions of Quebec were out of power for two weeks or more. Weather events around the country have caused major power outages. The infrastructure issues are not resolved and likely won’t be anytime soon. The big lie is being revealed in the most unusual, predictible, logical ways.
While EV drivers can feel they are making a difference, the Truth is they are not because the big picture does not match the sales pitch at all. Some are finding that out the hard, expensive, anxiety-inducing way. A lesson not to be forgotten. Hence the term, “a fool and their money are easily parted.” An Inconvenient Truth indeed!
