On Friday, March 7, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, a trans singer named Laura Jane Grace opened one of Bernie Sanders’ Oligarchy Tour events with a song featuring oft-repeated chorus of “Does your God have a big, fat [crude word for penis].” The chorus continues with copious use of the F word.
The verses also contained strong sexual references to the God of the Jewish-Christian Bible and to his Son. Furthermore the chorus was picked up by many members of the cheering crowd – as its simple, repetitive nature suggests it was meant to be.
What does Bernie – the sponsor and host and putative planner of the Oligarchy Tour – think of this song? So far, he’s not saying.
Bernie’s social media reports big crowds and bigger excitement in the weekend’s tours through supposedly ‘red’ towns in battleground states like Wisconsin and Michigan. However, no reference to Grace.
VDC has sent three emails to Sen. Sanders’ D.C. office, seeking an answer to whether Vermont’s senior senator knew whether the song would be performed, and if he approved, and approves of it now. If/when we receive a response, we will publish it immediately.
Laura Jane Grace, however, on Facebook defended the lyrics of the song.
“I maintain that this song is a smart and well laid out argument and I am asking a genuine question. I get chromosomes and biology thrown in my face constantly, and we all listen to talk of “his glory” and being made in “his image” and that’s what I want to know — Do you honestly believe your god has a d*ck?,” Grace said on Facebook.
Grace’s song, first widely reported by Gateway Pundit, has gone viral on social media.

My God is not a physical being characterized by chromosomes. By definition He is spiritual. It sounds like Grace has one, and thinks himself a God. 1 Timothy 4:1-4 is apropos to answer HIS question. Next thing you know, they will want to stop us from eating meat!
Thank you very much for publicizing this ugliness, Guy! People need to know about Sen. Sanders and his friends on the left.
I hope God will open Grace’s eyes so she can see the truth of the living God and experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ.

Amen, Cathy! People’s eternal lives are at stake. We will see the recompense of the wicked, Psalm 91:8. I don’t wish to see that on anyone and pray they repent.
I had a whole big rant about this person’s behavior but what it boils down to is that I feel sad for him. Life isn’t always very kind and I’ve certainly climbed some mountains in my day…but, I don’t know how I would have been able to do it without my Faith. If I didn’t believe with all my heart that I was not walking alone and that He loves me…well, I just don’t think I’d even be here. I feel very sad for Laura Jane Grace that he doesn’t know that peace.
I don’t think much of our “socialist” billionaire senator, truly an oxymoron. I’m sorry he thinks this is appropriate. I pray for him and the blasphemous singer, that they will repent and ask Jesus into their lives before it is too late. I truly feel bad for those that are so deceived. God’s love is comforting in these trying times.

Sanders is a coward. He won’t stand up to the far left lunatics-that’s his base. I am so ashamed and embarrassed he is our senator. A disgrace to Vermont and Americans everywhere.

She/he needs to keep her/husband sexuality to her/his self. This is completely inappropriate. Sexuality is personal, not public. If a straight person sang a song with similar sexual connotations he/she would have been shredded to bits.
In every act of evil against God we are challenged by God to see the mercy of God and turn away from sin. As we rush to sit in judgement of a blasphemer and condemn his evil hosts, we are drawn into sin with them. Now is the time to flood our hearts with love for God, praise his Holy name and ask for His mercy. Mercy not just for those who blasphemed against God but also mercy for those who condemned the blasphemers to hell. For only God is our judge. Judge not lest ye be judged. As we judge so shall we be judged. Pray for all those who witnessed the blasphemy against our God that they may seek Gods forgiveness and be healed. Pray for those who blasphemed and are afflicted by sin and suffering the pain of eternal judgment and damnation, lest we suffer their fate. For once we are dead, who will pray for us and our salvation? God allows evil to persist that we may see it and reject it. Reject the evil that resides in our hearts and receive the mercy grace and healing forgiveness of God.
Hail Mary, full of grace. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
