New name, new time for VDC podcast



Beginning last Friday, the Vermont Daily Chronicle podcast aired live at 2:30 PM every Friday will be called “The Vermont Podcast.” The Vermont Podcast may seen on VDC’s YouTube, Facebook and X pages. 

Guy Page and Paul Bean began ‘Friday at Four’ last April in the Bean Chevrolet building in Northfield with just a handful of views. Now, almost every show exceeds 1,000 views. 

The location and format (Guy and Paul covering the top news in the 802 Scoop studio) will be unchanged.

Friday’s topics: Border patrol arrests at Berkshire farm, VT’s highest homeless rate in the nation, and Senate advances Burlington gun control.

  1. JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE VERMONT ZOO. This has become the land of schizophrenia in Vermont and most of this is in the Vermont statehouse.

  2. Are the border patrol going to enforce federal law on green card or legal visa migrant workers?????? Are the workers that were arrested last week still in jail and what are the charges????? Were the arrested workers legal with their proper papers????? Enquiring minds would like to know the rest of the story.

    • The Vermont legislature is now the resistance to DC. The congressional delegation also known as the three stooges thinks they can overpower the federal government that was voted into office by the American people. They are all powerful here and those who feel safe in their little cabal under the dome will receive a good dose of karma that always happens to arrogant people. The story hasn’t been written yet but it is not going to bode well for these tyrants masquerading as representatives. Vermont strong is not going to defeat the movement spreading across America. The decades of lies are being exposed and the truth is coming out. The resistance is weak and the democrats are polling at 21% favorability. Sanctuary cities and states are out and common sense is returning. The democratic party is done!
