Chapel restored – The Journal-Opinion reports that the restored Sawyer Chapel on the Upper Plain in Bradford was re-dedicated yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
It culminated a nearly 20-year initiative to restore the building. Constructed in 1912 and named for its benefactor, the chapel fell into disrepair after a period of declining use beginning in the 1960s.
The late Martina Stever led an effort beginning in 2006 to restore and reopen the chapel in advance of its 100th anniversary. It is used today for winter storage of caskets and available for services.
Contact certified leashed tracking dog owners for bear session – The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is providing the following list of certified leashed tracking dog owners who volunteer during the hunting seasons to help hunters locate deer or bear that have been shot during hunting season but not yet recovered.
The leashed tracking dog owners, who provide their services free of charge, must pass an extensive exam in order to be certified and licensed to provide their services. This list, which may be updated during hunting seasons, is available on the Vermont Fish and Wildlife website.

If the Vermont GOP lets Greg near the leadership then they deserve everything coming to them at a time when the could take the House back
If nobody was in charge they would do exponentially better, like what have they won in the last 40 years?
I do not understand why people keep believing we are on the verge of change in the VTGOP. All the metrics they supposedly stand for have gotten worse, every single year, the leadership doesn’t even discuss, censorship, cancel culture, drug and crime rampage, school debacle has only gotten much worse, same for any affordability, we have the highest cost for health care and education.
What new direction are we taking?
What ever we do, do not make any course corrections or staff changes!
“I do not understand why people keep believing we are on the verge of change in the VTGOP.” You’re not, however there is a chance to pick up seats based on the pure incompetence of the other side, but to make a guy who couldn’t get elected dog catcher in Rutland your #2 is a great way to slide back into irrelevance.
Need a plan, need a different direction in leadership. There are many, many bright, intelligent people within the party that know what is going on and how things operate in Montpelier and how they don’t.
These are the people that need to be elevated and put into positions.
If you think the other side is incompetent, then you are surely fooled. They are extremely well organized, well-funded, have control of the media, control of the educational system……
You don’t even know your opponent, like many you think it’s just a numbers game, it’s not. this is Pepsi vs. Coke, David vs. Goliath…….
Our forefathers knew better than to fight the British, their brothers and sisters, (our revolution was a civil war) in battle formation as the British do. So true are we in the similar situation.
We need to expose the lies and deceit, and they will collapse on themselves.
Sun Tzu – The Art of War
Jesus Christ – Before the Pharisees
Any change in direction would be good, regardless of whom the change is orchestrated by, because then we’d have some movement from the current dismal state of affairs.
Same characters are going to give us no change, and we’ll wait.
New characters may fall on their faces, but change will have started.
George Washington gave up his position of president, voluntarily.
Are people in the VTGOP willing to do that? I suspect not.
There is the problem, NO change, Results are the SAME.
Change will be messy and will get poor results at first. But getting people in the right positions can and could happen, but only with change.
