Swanton U.S. Border Patrol agent Zachary Apotheker – subject of a cease and desist order to talk to the media – most definitely is not staying silent about federal immigration policy.
As reported last week in VDC, Apotheker’s September 11 cease-and-desist order prompted investigative journalist James O’Keefe to visit two Vermont residents’ homes Saturday, September 21. Both men are Apotheker’s Border Patrol superiors in the Swanton Sector. O’Keefe wanted to know why they had issued the order.
The order directs Apotheker to not talk to the media or make social media podcasts. It’s unclear whether he’s adhered to the letter of this command, but his outspoken X tweets, including some reposted by O’Keefe, have had millions of views.
Today, Apotheker bemoaned the U.S. government spending $1 billion to care for illegal immigrants while not responding effectively to U.S. citizen victims of Hurricane Helene – including members of his own family.
“Imagine being a Border Patrol Agent, dedicated to serving the nation. But as Hurricane Helene strikes, your family back in NC/TN is left stranded,” Apotheker said on X Thursday morning. “Meanwhile DHS/FEMA claims insufficient funds for natural disaster relief, post a hefty $1 billion spend on illegal migrant aid.”
Apotheker – who describes himself as a patriot and a Christian, and who wrote John 3:16 over his signature on the receipt of the C&D – is speaking bluntly and with frustration.
“It’s almost as if you let people in and give them money, they’ll come in droves,” Apotheker said in an October 2 O’Keefe, the investigative journalist who was detained and given a trespass notice by state police September 21 at the Jericho home of Swanton Sector Chief Agent Robert Garcia.
The following is a lengthy excerpt from Apotheker’s tweet.
“How did they all get here? How many did we let stay? How many have we returned? How many are getting public assistance? What forms of public assistance? How much public assistance are they receiving? Why the sudden spike? It’s almost as if…if you let people in and give them money they’ll come in droves?! How many were criminals in their former country? How many committed crimes in another country other than their origin country? How many of those countries share their criminal history with @DHSgov?
How many had previously committed crimes in THIS country left and are now coming back? How many had illegally entered the U.S previous to this encounter on the southern border and left only to return?How many had asylum claims in Canada or Chile or Argentina or another country other than their country of origin? How many were receiving public assistance from another country other than their origin country and the funds ran out? How many were STILL receiving public assistance from a country other than their origin country or from the U.S.? How many went on to commit violent crime in the U.S? How many drove and illegal incurred into the U.S. only to be released? How many had previously entered the U.S as a “family unit” only to leave and return without “their children” they illegally entered with the first time? How many had legitimate documentation? How many went on to have children in the U.S that the taxpayer paid for and are now full blown citizens? (anchor babies) How many “gotaways”
Questions the public DESERVES immediate answers to…..
Apotheker then cited U.S. criminal code about bringing in and harboring illegal aliens.

God bless Zachary for sharing this story. People need to be aware. I-for one-am very upset to learn that FEMA funding for the victims of Helene. It is criminal-IMHO. This article explains a lot.
I Think you meant that FEMA may NOT have the funding. It is criminal, by a criminal US administration.
DHS/HSI will do anything to shut people up! When I told the higher ups that Will Hoyt (RAC Springfield MA) had a history of molesting children and still was assigned to Project Safechild in Western MA, giving him access to the same age children he was accused of molesting, HSI tried to suspend me 4 times! I am surprised he still has his job, I am sure he is suffering harassment from the Agency, thats what they do. I finally got a ruling from an MSPB judge declaring Whistleblower retaliation against me. Keep speaking out pal, but stay non partisan or you will undermine yourself!
HSI Used the Vermont State Police to help them cover up child molestation, and an attempted kidnapping of a child by Will Hoyt. DHS/HSI doesnt care about anything or anyone except their “reputation” which gets worse every day The let a child molester stay on the streets and a woman Anna Powers who tried to kidnap a little boy. They dont care about who suffers when these criminals commit more crimes, or the people who suffered at their hands. HSI is protecting the agent who assaulted a woman at an airport and on a plane, using the Massachusetts State Police. DHS/HSI is in bed with the State Police because they funnel millions of dollars of Federal Money to the State Police through their SLOT (State and Local Overtime) program. The State Police have become nothing but puppets because of this corrupt agency who abuses their authority to cover up the crimes committed by their agents in uniform. Dan Trudeau of the VSP shot up the ranks after he cow towed to HSI and helped them cover up the crimes of Wll Hoyt and Anna Powers. Any surprise there? People need to look behind the scenes and see how THAT happened!

The eggs have to be specific to the project. Look at what all these agencies (and corporations) have been openly pushing, even on their websites.
How else can progressives justify building anything? It’s all out there for everyone to see. They knock something down from before, and then erect something new that they want as a replacement. You know… to be unburdened by what has been.
None of this is a secret. It’s just in obvious code.
The letter says , while on duty or wearing his uniform. It memtions 2x about uniforms. Perhaps clarity about that. If it were me, I would take that as, my free speech is nit shut down, I can speak but not in uniform or on duty.
This man is a hero and a role model. He summarized my feelings and described the insanity of the migrant “crisis” succinctly and powerfully. It is ironic that a border patrol agent is being harassed and persecuted for his desire to patrol the border and protect the country from what is nothing less than a hostile invasion that is destroying our country from within. How can our “leaders” allow this to happen? Answer: They allow it because it’s exactly what they want.
Whistleblowers (Trumpets sounding off) are coming out in droves. Julian Assange spoke in front of the EU – what happened? He was exonerated and the USA Corporation abmonished for dirty deeds done not so cheap. Drop those dimes boys and girls…let them rain down from heaven with as much force as the rain being poured upon our lands. The hinges of Hell are lapping a number of ankles these days…they will fall – they will scatter like rats off a sinking ship…the shaking and sifting has commenced.

Someone needs to notify agent Zachary Apotheker that all information that makes Biden’s immigration policies seem unpopular is DISINFORMATION. That edict comes down straight from the ministry of information.

The audio portion of a conversation i had with Cathy O’Brian was played on the Shotgun Express many years ago. The person involved was a high level senator in Vermont and i still have the book. The media in Vermont sucks.
