Vermont Intelligence Center ‘fully involved’ in evaluating social media reports, Public Safety official says

The Vermont State Police today commented on intense local, state and online social media buzz about a MAP (Minor Attracted Persons) gathering reportedly scheduled to occur in Washington County beginning on Thursday, September 19. Minor Attracted Persons is another term for pedophiles.
The social media posts have named two Washington County individuals as playing a role in the reported gathering, and also have speculated on the location. VDC is withholding these names and other details, as neither the event nor the Sept. 19 event have been confirmed. A website promoting a Washington County MAP event was taken down from the internet.
Vermont Daily Chronicle reached out to the Vermont State Police today for their comment. Spokesperson Adam Silverman responded:
“The Vermont State Police is aware of reports circulating online that a gathering of individuals calling themselves “minor-attracted persons” might be taking place this weekend in Washington County.
“VSP is unable to monitor events or groups that engage in activities that courts have ruled are protected by the First Amendment regardless of the views those groups express. If we receive reports of criminal conduct, we would be able to open an investigation.
“That said, since being made aware of this potential event, VSP has been working to understand what this event might entail and how best to manage any security-related and safety-related concerns for those involved and everyone in the vicinity.”
At today’s noontime press conference, VDC asked Gov. Scott if he had any updates on these reports. He passed the question along to Vermont Department of Public Safety Deputy Commissioner Daniel Batse, who said they have heard “conflicting reports.”
“The challenge of course is that no laws have been broken,” Batsie said. “The Vermont Intelligence Center is fully involved, aware of all the open sources. We will be prepared to protect the safety of all citizens.”
VDC will update this story if and when details are known.

Wonder is this will make it on the other “news” organizations websites? Funny thing those last changes in Vermont constitutional law might protect the MAPS, because in Vermont Schools they are taught to express their sexuality at an early age, and it’s a constitutional right now…sex workers of course need to be protected too!
Notice how everything is done to protect the event at all costs. Will there be any public outcry? Probably not. Children really are not safe in this state.
Most likely, they’ll be handled just like our drug dealers, let free to go because we were “profiling”. Nobody will say anything until years later……then it will be lawsuits galore.
We can do much better in Vermont, much.
Postmodern-socialism relies heavily on linguistics and the use of language to control a mass of people. The newest phrase “Minor Attracted Persons” is just ‘another brick in the wall’.
“Transgenderism” is now taking children away from their parents so that they-under the control and direction of the State-can become their ‘authentic selves’.
If an underage child can make such a decision-absent the consent of the parents-to “change” their sex… then why would it be such a leap to believe that these same children-under the control and direction of the State-wouldn’t be allowed to be their ‘authentic selves’ and ‘choose’ when and who to have sex with?
Nihilism is nearer by each new passing phrase…

Also a 1st amendment protected activity to name and shame and let the community know who to watch out for. It’s fully legal to formally trespass whoever you want from your business. It’s fully legal to gather their names and go from business to business to solicit a trespass, and notify the community which business are and are not participating in these trespassing campaigns.

And the campsite owner, FWIW, in the Plainfield select board meeting, specifically described pedophilia as a “sexual orientation,” which you can hear in the recording of the meeting, posted, as I mentioned, in “Plainfield People VT,” on Facebook.
