New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont all fighting brush fires

By Alex Nuti – de Biasi, Journal-Opinion
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation has issued an order for all of the state’s forest fire wardens to cease issuing burn permits until Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. The order went into effect Monday at 3 p.m. and can be revoked earlier if conditions warrant.
With the continued dry weather outlook and the abundance of dry leaves and dry fuels in Vermont’s forests, wildfires have the potential to spread rapidly, officials said. No significant rainfall in the forecast and therefore fire danger is expected to remain at these elevated levels for the foreseeable future.
Fires, which may have been caused by improper disposal of wood stove ash and debris burning, over the weekend destroyed two camps in Barnard.
It’s not just Vermont where the conditions pose high levels of fire danger. The entire state of New Hampshire had a fire danger rating of high yesterday. WMUR-TV reported that there were multiple brush fires in the state over the weekend, including in Danville, Litchfield, Canaan and Troy.
You can add Haverhill to the list. HFD reported on social media that it responded to a brush fire off Terrace Drive on Sunday afternoon.
And to the south, there are nearly 50 active brush fires burning in the Bay State, according to a Boston television station.

Sad the state has to issue these warning. Common sense should keep people from making fires during dry or windy conditions that can easily get out of control.
You would think so but not in the idiot apocalypse we are currently living in.
