Drug Dealer Sentenced to 5 Years

The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont has announced that Quentin Dingle has been sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Dingle, who is 39 and from Brooklyn, was arrested on September 26, 2023 following an extensive investigation into his drug distribution activity.

Police had learned that he was selling cocaine base in the area. Police informants fooled Dingle into selling them cocaine on five separate occasions.

Dingle was arrested outside the University Mall in South Burlington, leading to two more search warrants which yielded further evidence of drug crimes.

Police searched two storage units belonging to Dingle which contained 35.4 grams of fentanyl, 7.7 grams of cocaine base, 3.5 grams of fentanyl laced with xylazine, 2.58 grams of p-fluorofentanyl, other evidence of narcotics distribution, and a Beretta .380 caliber handgun.

He was charged with multiple drug sale charges, fentanyl trafficking, and cocaine possession.

His sentencing of 5 years and a 3-year term of supervised release was handed down on November 6 by Judge William K. Sessions III.

Burlington Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration worked closely together on this case.

  1. How do you have nine failures to appear into court??

Phone up here to court,I expect to go to jail until I appear in court, I’m not a cat. I don’t have nine Court lives.

  2. WHY IS VT SO SOFT ON CRIME AND LETTING THESE PPL OUT TO OFFEND AGAIN? Wonder if it would make a difference if it was one of the POWERFUL E-LITES family members?

    • The legislature is much too busy trying to heal the planet and extract as much money as they can from their money pot, the taxpayer. If they are so serious about crime, why don’t they support corrections with enough money to house these repeat offenders. Unfortunately, the prison lobby doesn’t exist and there’s no campaign contributions to be had. So, chasing windmills and solar panels is what the people get, and the drug scourge continues while the catch and release carries on. Maybe they should install a turnstile at the courthouse.

  3. Another ” POS ” example roaming the streets in the cesspool known as Burlington, let’s see how long it takes before this POS is back on the streets…………………..

The adage from a movie ” Build it and they will come ” well Burlington built a cesspool……………..and there here along with all there issues !!

  4. Antonio is another poster boy for why habitual offender laws need to be enforced after third felony, as well as why at least $50K bail needs to be set for serial arrestee/offenders.
