The Vermont State Police are seeking information regarding the destruction of a sign belonging to the Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church located at 92 Grafton Road, Townshend. 

The sign was struck the evening of September 25-26 in what appears to have been a vehicle related incident where the driver fled the scene. Police say the vehicle involved is like a dual rear wheel truck.

VSP-Westminster Barracks is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and urges anyone with information to come forward. Police say that any information, no matter how minor it may seem, could be critical in helping to resolve this case.

Political yard sign vandalized

On September 28 at 11 AM, members of the Vermont State Police received the report of a vandalism incident at a residence on Richford Road in Berkshire.

Investigation revealed that during the overnight hours an unknown person drove off the roadway and struck a posted political campaign sign in the front yard of the residence in question.
