Vermont political observer and writer Rob Roper brings his “Behind the Lines” analysis and commentary to the Milton Library on Saturday, January 13 at 10 am.
Roper will provide the details behind a current bill to increase the income tax by 10% and the Vermont tax commissioner’s estimated education property tax increase of 18%. He will also discuss a recent survey of likely Vermont voters by Campaign for Vermont, and how the results of the survey contrast with recent legislative actions, especially related to energy policy, the state economy and taxation.
Roper has a two-decade career in Vermont politics and policy, including hosting a popular WDEV radio show and president of the Ethan Allen Institute until 2022. Rob has a successful reader-supported commentary on Substack, and his commentaries have also been published in several other Vermont media outlets, including Vermont Daily Chronicle. He is a frequent guest on WVMT’s Morning Drive with Kurt Wright and Anthony Neri.
Attendees will be invited to go “Behind the Lines” with Rob to see what’s really happening in our state, and how we can impact the direction of Vermont. This event is sponsored by the Milton Republican Committee, and is free and open to the public.

Hopefully the Valley Bible Church is hosting a talk about transhumanism as a warning and not as an invitation to accept it’s perversity and goal to destroy centuries of established ethical and moral behavior.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10:
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
I found the article a little little confusing! I am pretty sure Dr. Mellen Kennedy is speaking AGAINST the transhumanist agenda based on her stance during COVID. Anyone, please correct me if I’m wrong!
“Transhumanist expert”. I already read this book. It was called Revelation or sometimes referred to in sub-title as the Apocalypse of John. I hear it’s very easy to find as it has apparently remained a best-seller for a couple of thousand years.
How upside down in life do you have to be to change your sex fom a man to a woman then instead of being a woman in the traditional sense take a traditionally male role in the running of a company and on top of all of that make an AI version of your spouse.
How to say I don’t know who/what I am without saying I don’t know who/what I am!
Right. Or maybe like how to say: you will like what I do, and you will subsidize it with your tax dollars.
