Berlin police are asking the public if they recognize a man who they say entered the Berlin Walmart under pretense of being a fire inspector, and then reportedly accessed restricted areas of the store.

The photos (above) are from store surveillance cameras. Police say he also was allegedly verbally aggressive and exhibited disorderly behavior, causing concern among employees.

We urge anyone who may recognize this individual or have information concerning this incident to come forward. Your assistance is invaluable in helping the Berlin Police Department maintain the safety and security of our community,” the BPD said in a December 9 statement.

Police asked that people who recognize the man not post in comments but rather call during business hours at 802-223-4401.
