The disturbing news about the scheduled pedophile ‘MAP’ camp in Vermont, reported by VDC last week, has gained national media attention.
Last week our original coverage of this story was shared by the massive X account “Libs of Tik Tok,” with 3.4 million followers. Naturally when this story was shared on X, we saw quite the spike in online traffic to our website.
The story shared by “Libs” received 643.2K views on X alone. This does not mean that our story was necessarily read by that many people, however our story and headline reached potentially hundreds of thousands of people from a single post.
VDC reporter and Social Media Director Paul Bean also appeared on the Burlington based, Disaffected podcast with host Josh Slocum on the Sunday, September 20 episode to provide more information about the planned pedophile camp in Vermont.
“Vermont Reporter Paul Bean joins us to expose the pedophile summer camp that almost took place right next door to a K-12 school,” the promo for the episode on YouTube. “The [pedophiles] are crying ‘discrimination’ against themselves as a poor, despised minority.”
Taking this a step further, last night an article in The Federalist titled “Activists Defend Canceled ‘Minor-Attracted Persons’ Camp In Vermont Next To School“ was shared with me on X.
In the article, VDC editor Guy Page and I are both mentioned by name, as well as the Chronicle’s logo, name, and X account.
This is not a story either of have enjoyed covering. As a relatively new journalist, this was an eye opening story for me to understand just how difficult this job can really be. That being said, we are exposing evil. We are exposing sickness. We are exposing lies. To watch this story develop from the beginning to what it has become is incredible. The work we are doing is truly having an impact, and I think that’s all we could ever ask for.
In 2024, we often hear things like, “newspapers are dead,” or “journalism is a dying art.” This could not be more untrue. I would argue, in fact, there has been no better time in human history to be a journalist, an artist, a creator. We have access to everyone on planet earth with internet, and they have access to us! This right here is a local example of the potential of today’s independent media.
When I look at the “media field” out there right now, there is just so many great independent journalists out there doing their thing. The Chronicle is proud to be chugging along right here in Vermont. We want to provide our readers a local service that they can rely on and trust, as well as a microphone to the rest of the world. I hope J.D. Vance is able to ask Walz during the VP debate coming up to explain in detail what “Tampons in the boys bathrooms” means to him. And if walz’s answer doesn’t have a connection with decriminalizing pedophilia, I’d call him a liar! The whole country is against decriminalizing pedophiles sexual acts against children because they damage children’s psyche forever taking away their innocence if they even survive it. Why is there a war on children??
We’ve seen here in Vermont through the years multiple children sexually abused and murdered and the offender goes to jail for the rest of their lives!!! In fact if cbs doesn’t fact check walz, (abc didn’t fact check Harris), I hope Vance will do it himself.
IF Homeland Security, who pulls the strings of VSP, is really against child trafficking, then why arent they doing something about this? Perhaps because so many of them are involved……
Forget the Catch and Release practice of the Woke Jokers…Catch and Castrate and Cast into the Lake of Fire…this is sick, perverse and sanctioned by the evil spiritual forces of our Marxist ruling puppets. Real journalism is reporting the Truth – no matter what the subject is or where the story leads. The rise of citizen journalists and independent media are the ones keeping people informed – the paid and controlled MSM and alt-media should be ashamed. Yet, if one has no conscience or a spine, they don’t comprehend their role in the destruction of a civil society.
The activists (aka pawns) are activated. They are paid to do the bidding of their Master. Many leftist “influencers” are outed for their compensation deals and scripted talking points. Most don’t believe in what they are saying or doing. They just want money and followers. It’s all about the revenue, ethical and moral principles be damned.
Stick to the real principles of real journalism and watch the rest fade into obscurity. As many of them are losing the narrative and shedding followers in droves. Keep doing the right thing and exposing the corruption. The Truth shall set us free!

Vermont’s “liberal media” (VTDigger, PBS, VPR, WCAX) dont report on this story because they dont consider a news story…it’s just another day in the progressive utopia…We all await for the next letter(s) to be affixed to the increasingly inclusive LGBT alphabet soup to include “minor attracted perverts”…
