Feds say there’s no funds left to respond to hurricanes after FEMA spent $1.4B on migrants | 3 Oct 2024 | Homeland Security Secretary [and Grade “A” sociopath] Alejandro Mayorkas set off outrage Wednesday when he told reporters that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) “does not have the funds” to see Americans through the rest of this Atlantic hurricane season — after the agency spent more than 1.4 billion since the fall of 2022 to address the migrant crisis… Over two years, more than 1.4 billion has been committed from FEMA-administered programs to support non-federal entities that are taking care of migrants. DHS allocated 780 million for the migrant crisis last year through the FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program, which funds relief not associated with natural disasters, and the FEMA Shelter and Services Program, which was authorized in late 2022 by Congress to respond to the migrant crisis. The 640.9 million spent this year comes solely from the Shelter and Services Program.

U.S. announces $700 million in aid for Ukraine’s energy grid and more | 11 Sept 2024 | U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced more than 700 million in aid for Ukraine Wednesday during a visit to Kyiv, aiming to bolster the energy grid that Russia has repeatedly pounded ahead of an expected difficult winter. The announcement came while Blinken was on a rare joint tour with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy after the two top diplomats traveled together to the Ukrainian capital to underscore their commitment to the country in its war with Russia. Blinken said the assistance also would provide humanitarian support and pay for mine-removal operations.
Volunteer firefighter who rushed to help Hurricane Helene victims in his helicopter is threatened with arrest by local officials –“I was legal in what I was doing, and I was following all FAA guidelines and airspace guidelines. I was on private property.” | 2 Oct 2024 | A volunteer firefighter using his own helicopter to help save Hurricane Helene victims was threatened with an arrest while halfway through helping an elderly couple. Jordan Seidhom, a former cop and volunteer firefighter, has been using his personal chopper to reach those cut off from rescue teams following the devastating storm. But while halfway through rescuing an elderly couple in Lake Lure, North Carolina, on Sunday, a senior official with the local fire department told him he would arrest him for doing so… Thirty minutes after of the arrest threat, a temporary flight restriction order was also implemented over Lake Lure, right where he and the official faced off. Seidhom believes that the move to have himself and other pilots pushed out of the rescue zone put peoples lives at risk. “I’m sorry, if I had to do it over again, I would have stopped and I would have rescued as many people until they decided they were going to arrest me.”
Hurricane Helene victims in NC are fending for themselves as response from Biden-Harris FEMA underwhelms | 3 Oct 2024 | Desperate residents of Hurricane Helene-ravaged Western North Carolina are relying on home-grown rescue efforts instead of waiting for the Biden-Harris administration’s financially depleted FEMA to get its act together. Not content to hold out hope for help some fear might not arrive in time, a handful of grassroots rescue operations have sprung up to render assistance by air, land and even on four legs. With hundreds more missing in the remote, unforgiving terrain and communication services damaged or nonexistent, the search for survivors grows more dire with each passing hour. Local airports like City of Statesville Regional Airport and Hickory Regional Airport have transformed themselves into donation drop-off and delivery zones, courtesy of a few dozen volunteers lending their time, critical supplies and in some cases, their planes to the rescue effort.

Kiev may have to accept loss of territory – Stoltenberg –Ukraine could sacrifice some land in favor of ending the conflict, the former NATO chief said | 5 Oct 2024 | Ukraine may have to recognize the loss of some of its territory to Russia in favor of achieving peace and security guarantees, Jens Stoltenberg said in his first long interview after stepping down as NATO secretary general. Stoltenberg ended his 10-year tenure as the chief of the U.S.-led alliance on October 1. In a conversation with the Financial Times published on Friday, he said that Kiev may be forced to rethink seeing the restoration of the 1991 borders as a prerequisite for any peace deal. Stoltenberg suggested “a kind of new momentum” would come after the U.S. presidential election in early November, possibly ushering in “ways to try to get movement on the battlefield combined with movement around the negotiating table.”
Huge explosion from Israeli strikes in Beirut –The IDF continued its bombing campaign in the early hours of Sunday | 5 Oct 2024 | The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) dropped more bombs on Beirut on Sunday, causing a large explosion in the Lebanese capital. The air raids continued into the night as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to redouble the fight against Hezbollah, which has been firing rockets and mortar shells into northern Israel. Al Jazeera correspondent Laura Khan reported “an absolutely massive explosion” in Beirut’s southern suburbs, adding that she has seen at least two strikes. Videos posted to social media show a bright blaze followed by a powerful blast.
Israel has given no assurances it won’t target Iran’s nuclear facilities, top State Department official tells CNN | 4 Oct 2024 | Israel has not given assurances to the Biden administration that targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities is off the table in retaliation for the Iranian ballistic missile strikes earlier this week, a top U.S. State Department official told CNN on Friday. The official added that it is “really hard to tell” if Israel will use the anniversary of Hamas’s October 7 attacks to retaliate. “We hope and expect to see some wisdom as well as strength, but as you guys know, no guarantees,” the official said when asked by CNN if Israel has assured the U.S. that Iran’s nuclear sites are off the table. U.S. officials have voiced support for Israel responding to Iran’s missile attack earlier this week, with multiple officials publicly saying there must be consequences. At the same time, officials have also voiced concerns about a regional conflagration as they grapple with an increasingly volatile Middle East.
Israel vows ‘to target Iran’s oil in missile attack revenge’ after barrage from Tehran marked ‘significant escalation’ in crisis, as it edges ever closer to WWIII | 2 Oct 2024 | Israel is preparing a “significant retaliation” to Iran’s 200-strong barrage of missiles last night that could target the Middle Eastern nation’s lucrative oil facilities. The region is edging closer to all-out war that is already drawing in allies on both sides — with British jets used to counter Iran’s strikes, which were fired in retaliation to attacks on Lebanon in recent days. Reports suggest Israel, which has vowed to strike “powerfully” in response to Iran, could go after the country’s oil facilities; Iran is the third biggest producer of crude oil in the OPEC group of oil producing countries. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, who was on the phone with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu when the Iranian attack began, said: “I am deeply concerned that the region is on the brink and I am deeply concerned about the risk of miscalculation.”
Two California dairy workers infected with bird flu, latest human cases in U.S. | 3 Oct 2024 | Two dairy workers in California were infected with bird flu, the 15th and 16th human cases detected this year in an ongoing outbreak affecting the nation’s dairy cows, health officials said Thursday. The latest cases were found in workers who had contact with infected cattle in California’s Central Valley, where more than 50 herds have been affected since August. The workers developed eye redness known as conjunctivitis and had mild symptoms. California health officials said the workers were employed at different farms and there is no known link between the two cases, suggesting that they were infected through animal contact, not by people.
Dem Party Lawyers File in Texas State Court to Appoint a Receiver Over Alex Jones ‘the Person,’ Violating the 13th Amendment Which Outlaws Indentured Servitude and Slavery | 4 Oct 2024 | The globalists are in full panic mode and are doing everything they can to take the number one American populist broadcast off of the air. Democratic party operatives are simultaneously attempting in federal and state court to close InfoWars forever. Most importantly, they have publicly filed to appoint a receiver over Alex Jones personally, a completely illegal move that violates the 13th Amendment’s prohibition against slavery. (Video)
Vance Calls Out Democrats’ First Amendment Crackdown: ‘Harris Is Engaged in Censorship on an Industrial Scale’ | 2 Oct 2024 | Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, called out Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., for wanting to implement a mass censorship regime, blocking Americans from practicing their First Amendment rights. “I believe we actually do have a threat to democracy in this country. Unfortunately, it’s not the threat to democracy that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz want to talk about. It is the threat of censorship,” Vance said at Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate. “It’s Kamala Harris saying that rather than debating and persuading fellow Americans, she would like to censor people who engage in misinformation. That’s a bigger threat to democracy than anything we’ve seen in the last four years or 40 years.” Walz has said in the past “there’s not guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy,” despite the fact that both “misinformation” and “hate speech” are entirely protected by the First Amendment.
Adam Schiff Demands Crackdown on Election ‘Misinformation’ After He Spent Years Spreading Russia Collusion Hoax | 2 Oct 2024 | Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is demanding Big Tech censor so-called “misinformation” and “disinformation” ahead of the election. But just eight years ago, Schiff spread the most damaging election misinformation ever — the Russia collusion hoax. In a letter sent Monday to the CEOs of several tech giants, including Meta, X, TikTok, and Google, Schiff demanded to know how the companies would censor free speech in order to save “democracy.” [LOL!] The letter was signed by seven of Schiff’s Democratic colleagues. But for years Schiff leveraged his role as the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee to leak unsubstantiated allegations and misleading information to the media about former President Donald Trump’s alleged involvement with Russia.
Defiant Trump makes bold return to Butler, Pa., ‘in the aftermath of tragedy and heartache’ 3 months after first assassination attempt | 5 Oct 2024 | An undaunted former President Donald Trump returned Saturday to the Butler Farm Show grounds in Pennsylvania, where he came within a quarter inch of death just three months ago. “A very big thank you to Pennsylvania. We love, Pennsylvania, and as I was saying –,” Trump said to a thunderous applause, while standing in front of bulletproof glass at the exact spot where he was shot nearly three months ago. “Tonight, I return to Butler in the aftermath of tragedy and heartache to deliver a simple message to the people of Pennsylvania and to the people of America. Our movement to make America great again stands stronger, prouder, more united, more determined and nearer to victory than ever before.”
Flanked by top MAGA stars, Trump hoped to galvanize his supporters in the crucial battleground state and transform the tragic memory of July 13 into a message of resilience, proving that he and his movement are more alive than ever, even as security concerns loom large.
Elon Musk speaks at Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania | 5 Oct 2024 | Tesla CEO Elon Musk took the stage at former President Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday evening. The entrepreneur was seeing wearing a black MAGA hat and listening intently to the former president’s speech just before walking up to the podium. “Hi everyone, as you can see, I’m not just MAGA, I’m dark MAGA,” Musk joked, a reference to the Dark Brandon meme of Joe Biden. “I want to say what an honor it is to be here and, you know, the true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire, right?” he continued.
Trump’s team pushes to scrap his Jan. 6 indictment one day after Jack Smith’s evidence dump | 3 Oct 2024 | Former President Donald Trump’s legal team forged ahead with its bid to toss out the four-count 2020 election subversion indictment against him, just one day after prosecutors’ scathing evidence dump against him was unsealed. Trump’s team cited a June ruling from the Supreme Court in Fischer v. United States that curtailed the scope of the obstruction of an official proceeding charge used in the indictment against him. “The Superseding Indictment stretches generally applicable statutes beyond their breaking point based on false claims that President Trump is somehow responsible for events at the Capitol on January 6, 2021,” his team wrote in a motion to dismiss based on statutory grounds. “The Special Counsel’s Office seeks to assign blame for events President Trump did not control and took action to protect against.”
Kamala Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff ‘forcefully slapped ex-girlfriend’ in assault after date to gala | 2 Oct 2024 | Kamala Harris’s husband assaulted his ex-girlfriend, three friends have told Dailymail dot com. The Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, 59, allegedly struck the woman in the face so hard she spun around, while waiting in a valet line late at night after a May 2012 Cannes Film Festival event in France.
One of her friends told DailyMail dot com that the woman called him immediately after the incident, sobbing in her cab, and described the alleged assault. DailyMail dot com is not naming the woman, who is a successful New York attorney, but will refer to her by the pseudonym “Jane.” A second friend said Jane, who had been dating Emhoff for three months, also told her about the alleged violence at the time. A third friend told DailyMail dot com that Jane first told her in 2014 that she had dated Emhoff, and recounted the full story of his alleged abuse in 2018, when then senator Harris was in the news after grilling Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in a Senate hearing over sexual assault allegations.
Tim Walz staggered by cool JD Vance, admits ‘I’m a knucklehead’ during genial VP debate | 1 Oct 2024 | Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz stunned watchers of Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate as he nervously fidgeted, frowned and even called himself a “knucklehead” — while his Republican counterpart, Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, gave a steady and lawyerly presentation and was widely seen as the victor. The largely good-natured forum, hosted by CBS News, featured the two candidates agreeing with each other repeatedly and expressing warm personal sentiments — avoiding the blistering personal attacks that were part of both presidential debates earlier this year. Walz, 60, who has honed a folksy demeanor on the campaign trail, was noticeably nervous and misspoke repeatedly as he wrung his hands, took frantic notes, and his eyes darted around the CBS studio.
Longshoremen Pause Strike Until January 15, Throw Kamala Harris a Lifeline | 3 Oct 2024 | The dockworkers’ strike that could have severely hurt the American economy and the supply chain weeks before an election has been paused until January 15, diverting what could have been a political catastrophe for Kamala Harris. “The union that represents tens of thousands of East Coast dockworkers and the shipping industry reached a tentative agreement on wages and are extending an expired contract through Jan. 15, 2025,” announced Politico on Thursday. The union said on Facebook, “Effective immediately, all current job actions will cease and all work covered by the Master Contract will resume.” The threat of a strike could have severely hurt the American supply chain, which would have dramatically affected the economy going into the November presidential election between former President Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Upon news that the strike would be going forward earlier this week, Americans began to panic-buy essential goods.
Seattle judge releases accused killer 27 hours after 65-year-old military veteran stabbed to death –K’Shawn Konscience Jimerson, 19, was released on bail one day after his arrest | 2 Oct 2024 | A judge in Washington state released a teen one day after his arrest for allegedly stabbing a 65-year-old veteran to death at a home. As first reported by FOX 13 Seattle, the Renton Police Department said 19-year-old K’Shawn Konscience Jimerson called 911 just after 2 p.m. and told the operator that he had stabbed someone and would be standing “outside with the knife.” …When law enforcement officers were asked if they objected to Jimerson’s release, they marked “yes” on a court form, stating, “Jimerson, who is 19, stabbed a 65-year-old man with a large knife during an argument.” At his first court appearance, 27 hours after his arrest, Judge Michelle Gehlsen initially set bail at 50,000 despite finding probable cause for second-degree murder and the prosecutor asking for 2 million bail. Police said Jimerson posted bail and has been released.
BioLab plant fire: More than 90K sheltering in place in Georgia as ‘strong chemical smell’ enters Atlanta area | 30 Sept 2024 | Authorities are now reporting a “strong chemical smell” in the Atlanta area following a chemical plant fire east of Georgia’s capital city that has forced more than 90,000 residents to remain sheltered in place Monday after the “harmful irritant chlorine” was detected in the air. The Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency announced this morning that it is continuing “to investigate the numerous reports of a haze and strong chemical smell across Fulton County, likely related to the BioLab fire” that broke out in Conyers on Sunday. BioLab is a company that produces pool chemicals, according to its website. The government in Rockdale County, where Conyers is located, ordered residents to remain sheltered in place on Monday after testing from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division revealed the presence of the “harmful irritant chlorine” in the “air emitting from the incident location of BioLab.”

FEMA/// FOREVER ENDANGERING MANY AMERICANS. Do you need any more proof??????????
So, all the Vermont towns and cities waiting for funds and/or reimbursements are not going to be paid either? All those woke folks signing up illegals for goods, services, interest free loans, voter registrations, drivers licenses, free housing – can now expect far higher tax bills and rising rents to cover for all the flood damage. No one is going to fix or pay for resident damage now either. Well done Dem/Progs – your DEI hires are going a great job!
Non “official” reports from people on X, that is who are there and speaking to rescuers, estimate the body count is in the thousands. Many reports are coming out saying FEMA will not allow citizens to help but everything must go through proper channels thus slowing down services/supplies. Truckers are stating almost no orders are being put onto their normally active delivery posts within any radius of the disasters. Truckers normally make a hey-day on disasters (heavy equipment, water pumps, food pallets, etc.). Yet none are being posted within 200 miles of NC, GA, TN. The nearest are Chicago, which means FEMA is stopping supply chains. Sherriff’s and firefighters in some areas are stating they will arrest and federal employee who attempts to stop supplies from entering. It’s another fed vs. state debacle.
And National Public Radio says that claims of FEMA incompetence are ‘false’.
Just think. Those who listen to NPR may very well say to themselves that there’s no need to volunteer to help because FEMA has everything under control.
That’s the underlying insidious nature of NPR propaganda.
Mark my words – When all is said and done, we’re going to hear that 5000+ people perished in Hurricane Helene.
Let me ask all the thinking people out there… What were we always taught about hurricanes? That they quickly start losing strength when they make landfall, right? So why didn’t that happen here? Where did all that water come from? Logic says it didn’t come from the ocean, the majority of it anyway. Did it perhaps come from cloud seeding? Exacerbated by being pumped up by HAARP? And NEXRAD transmitters? Prove me wrong with science.
And how in the world did Helene stay “parked” over North Central Tennessee and Southern Kentucky for nearly a week? Only place I ever saw that was back in the late 2010s where that hurricane “got stuck” in the Gulf of Mexico off Houston and Galveston. Then it moved inland, back out to sea, and inland again. Have we ever seen that kind of hurricane behavior before? Not that I can recall myself or ever read about from before my time.
And now FEMA is blocking supplies and other help from going in? As far as I’m concerned, FEMA should be ripped apart and scattered to the winds, just like most of the other alphabet agencies. FFEMA! If you’re in the Kingdom, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
No, many folks may not have food in those Appalachian hills. They may not have clean water, They may not have any clothing or shelter. They may not have medicine. But I’ll tell you what they do have. They’re strong, no-nonsense mountain people who know how to live off the land and survive.
And they also have of guns. Lots of guns. And ammo. Plenty of ammo. If FEMA wants to play games, they’ll learn that first-hand. FAFO, right? People have been going missing in those mountains and hollers for centuries, never to be found. I’m sure a few more wouldn’t much matter in the bigger scheme of things.
Did anyone notice Hurricane Milton reported as Cat 3, an hour later Cat 4, and then Cat 5 the following hour yesterday morning? An independent weather watcher noted the barometric pressure dropped between 7-9 millibars in an hour? Unprecedented they say. Makes me wonder if those Hurricane Hunters are dropping more than instruments into the core of the storm. Odd flight patterns and odd beams being shot out into the Gulf from the mainland. I’m sure it’s nothing to be concerned about.
Prayers up for West Coast Florida – it all ready looks like a cluster bomb hit all the way down Gulf Boulevard – from Clearwater to St. Pete Beach is gone – Treasure Island decimated. Jaw dropping devastation.
Systematic disaster capitalism + land grab + disenfranchisement of middle and low income families = fascist tyranny
…and dare I mention: geoengineering as a domestic terrorism weapon (against middle and low income americans who can’t absorb any more anything?)
Population control. How will you find out who is bombing you with Weather Warfare and what is the military doing to stop this?????
Nearly three years ago, much to my chagrin, members of my family, born and bred Vermonters, left Vermont. They were residents of Burlington, but after nearly a decade of living in The Queen City, they became frustrated with the ever increasing taxes (city and state), the raising statewide crime and drug dealing, the growing harassment from more and more “free range” illegal aliens, and the incompetent and lack luster government of the City of Burlington’s failure to do anything, about anything. They sold their home and taking their kids and a scrawny cat, and left Vermont. They headed south, out of New England. After visiting Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, they settled in North Carolina, in the beautiful mountains in the western part of the state. Then last week, the unthinkable happened, and Hurricane Helene descended on them, and left them stranded in the ruins of Asheville. Now, more than a week after the storm surge, they are fortunate to be in a house that is safe and dry, but are without power and without running water, with minimal foodstuffs.
From my family’s first hand experiences, FEMA is conspicuous by its absence. Fed up and fleeing from the incompetence of progressive / liberal Vermont City and State governments, they’ve run smack dab into the incompetence of the progressive / liberal Federal government. The neighborhood they live in is thankfully one of mutual assistance, and they are holding their own. Elon Musk’s “StarLink” (good on him) has allowed them to reassure their out of state families that they are alright.
They are also able to confirm that the Federal FEMA is not rendering assistance. Now that I can talk with them, I’ve told them that if need be, I’ll come and get them. I would love to tell my family in Asheville that their two Senators and one Representative in congress are pushing the federal government to ratchet up their efforts to render assistance to the storm victims.
But Sanders and Welch, and Balint, are strangely, and maybe predictably, quiet. Reports are that FEMA is out of funds for the foreseeable future, because FEMA’s funds have been raided to support people in Lebanon and for the continuing drain on funds caused by the millions of illegals that the current administration allowed into the country. I have tried to contact all three of Vermont’s members of congress with my concerns, but apparently they can’t be bothered. Our State of Vermont deserves better representation. Vermonters need to vote these morons out.
The United States deserves better as well.
Don’t forget to vote…
